Thanks adjectives.Answers: It could be any or all of those option. Most companies will give you, at the drastically least, a box of how-to's. But good companies (like where on earth I work) will provide training. I had to walk to training for six full weeks and then have someone on-site for two additional weeks, as all right as multiple binders of info.
Probably a mixture of courses and hands on experience below supervision and tutoring.

(UK)Unemployed for a total of three weeks and this can't be right?
My husband lost his job on the 14th Jan when the firm he worked for go bust.On the 15th the Jobcentre told us we had to phone to claim JSA. The female on the phone took all the details saw the claim would start from the 14th and that he would not be able to in actuality speak to anyone until today.
On the 21st I took a job for 15 hrs a week, after 11 years looking after our 4 children. On the 21st also, my husband took a duty starting 4th Feb.
He went today to his appointment at the Jobcentre, told them of our foreign jobs and be told that we would not get any pay for another 2 weeks - a total of 4 weeks out of work by which time he will be back contained by work.
As his firm went bust, we own had no money since the 15th of Dec excepting a lb255 Crisis loan which be the max we could get while waiting for JSA.
At the Jobcentre the woman seemed to not supervision that he had found a post and insisted that he actively searches for one for subsequent week only!
Is this right?
Answers: This sounds typical, my wife was out of work for 4 weeks closing summer and we went through one and the same thing.
Our gift was delayed because I have a part time pub position (just 8 hours a week) and they refused to pay packet us anything until I had sent them my "wage slips" from my charge. I explained that I was remunerated in bread by the landlord and did not own "wage slips" and they just said "no wage slips, no benefit!"
I spent a week trying to nag the hotelier and his wife into writing out some wage slips for me. It annoyed them so much that they made an excuse to get rid of me!
So we wait 4 weeks before we get anything as well. Plus we after had to linger a month for my other half to receive his first wage packet from his new post.
sadly this is how it works. It take a couple of weeks for them to sort out all the financial stuff. not drastically helpful if you desperatly inevitability the money.
To make things worse, when i first started on JSA they didn't recompense me the first lot of money and they told me i would have to dally another 2 weeks for it. Ended up going over 5 weeks without any money
I sympathise next to your dilemma. I can not write what I wish to right to be heard. I hope you both settle in your respective job.

I really perceive for you- this is a subject very close to my heart but undesirably, unless you are an asylum seeker or similar, you will other be treated as a second class citizen in your own country. Unfortunately in attendance seem to be two sets of rules running - my Wife & my Son own both experienced similar attitudes and time scales for payment. All I can voice is good luck and I choice you both well for the adjectives.
