Careers Employment Questions and Answers

Friend nominated me as a personal suggestion..what question to expect from employer?

My friend/former co-worker listed me as a personal mention for an admin job she is applying for...what question should I expect to answer??...I hate speaking on the phone!! haha

Answers: I worked surrounded by an office that did situation checks.Personal references be rarely followed up for manifest reasons. You wouldn't tender out a name that would make a contribution a bad hint, would you?
If they do call it will be merely general question.Answer them in nonspecific terms.
I bet they don't bid.
They probably won't call. Usually personal reference are used if they are unable to phone your friend. Let's say that she's be working there for a few months and suddenly she stops coming to work. They ring up her and her phone doesn't work. The next step is to nickname every number they have on her (including your number) to see if she can be located.

If you do not want to practice tenet or hold the pub, what can you do near a imperative scope?

I do not feel similar to getting sucked into a coporate job or working for the affairs of state and I really do not want to take the banister. So what else can I do with my decree degree?

Answers: Apart from traditional job, a degree within Law will be very much favourable in pursuing the career of lawyers exploit as professors, Career Services directors, student counselors, alumni affairs, planned giving coordinators, and university administrators. Many special mediation and arbitration services assign lawyers as mediators/arbitrators. Banks hire lawyer as trust officers and securities compliance officer
I'm going through the same situation, except I took and passed a stick exam. I am currently interviewing with a business running consultancy firm that will allow me to travel.
You can also start your own business, politics, or teach.
Good luck. It is a tough declaration.
I believe there is a book nearly things you can do with a decree degree. You may want to check it out. Talk beside your law school's occupation center. They may be able to comfort and give you more planning.
If you don't have other TRUE world experience and you are applying with a statute degree, employer will not consider you. In the words of one blogger, you are "throwing away a winning lottery ticket."

Many nonlegal employer wonder why a lawyer would want to do anything save for practice law. The excuse that "the open market is saturated" will only report to them that you couldn't cut it as a lawyer. Also if you say aloud you "want to keep your option open" that only make you sound wavering. I recommended reading these blogs for follow up research.

Nope, phones and email are part of work. I try to avoid getting caught in work email threads. They are never a good thing.
