Job examine - customer service.?

for someone who's been working as a waitress for going on for 3 years, would you say she's get "Sales" experience or no??
I'm applying for this new work and they ask if i have sale experience, and i'm not sure of what to put down. Thanks for any help!

Answers: You can steer the quiz in another direction by adage that you definitely consistency you have "suggestive selling" experience.

I would consider serving as sale because you suggest items and the desired outcome is the customer leaving the establishment delighted with their purchase.

Try not to stress too much. Get plenty of rest. Go over possible question without rehearsing "word for word" answers...contemplate of a few different ways to answer.

Break a leg!
Yes but you would for sure have even more customer service experience which is even better!

Working next to clients/customers and having a knack for dealing beside the good, the discouraging, and the ugly is a deffinate plus.
You know what, it is best other to be honest. Put "will discuss at interview" on the application, and then agree to them know that you weren't sure what they were looking for as sale experience. Do you have cold telephone call experience? Nope. Do you have experience getting ancestors to buy more than they intended? Depends on whether or not you used suggestive selling techniques.

They may not be looking for sale experience, but may have it on the app by failure to pay. If they have a interrogate, they can contact you and clarify - the rest of your resume/application will make your experience clear.
No, I don't assume so, unless she actually did the teller job

Who can convey me if going after computer certifications is really worth it?

I have A+ cert and be working in the corral about 6-8 years I be working next to individuals who have MCSE even some who own cisco and they are making the same money as I am so not sure if getting certs/college the route or a short time ago trying to get more experience?? Please someone who have done well within IT advise, gratitude!

Answers: The MCSE's are very disappointing. I took one yesterday and it suprised me how much MS is more going on for business and less almost testing for a solid administrator. If you dance to pass4sure.com, and download the free practice questions, that is to say the format that the test is within. One of the questions be just roughly word for word. I went to free-tests.com and NONE of those question were even remotely close.

After seeing the format of the test, I lost some enthusiasm. I still want to be certified, but the certification test are a joke. You are better bad paying 5-10 grand and freshly going to one of the MCSE boot camps where on earth they 'check' your answers before you hit finished.

A level is extremely helpful if you be to transition into a government position. A cert or a level will get you within for more interviews than not having one.
I enjoy seen everything. A high-ranking school drop out walk in the door and because she know someone, she got training to design net sites...on the job.how capably will she do in the long ru is anyone's guess.

Life is a crapshoot. And so is training. How much money do you own for classes and certifications? What do you really want to do next? Do you hold a lot of contacts that can recommend you for further computer gigs?

I'd go for the TRUE world experience...you've survived this long already...save your money and try to pick up some optional skills that are in emergency today...not yesterday.

So much is who you know...the employer...if they believe in you.

I consider you need to clearly describe your goals/next step to see what training is required. Like the comment about gettig into a management job...if i.e. a goal. Maybe you want to get by some day and something else is desired.
Depends on the citations. I know for Cisco if you can get the CCIE its in truth worth more than bachelors degree since its deeply harder to get. But for the most element its better to have a credentials than not to have it. Therefore, if you do pursue credentials i dont think you should spend like mad of money trying to get it.

What should i say when a employer asks whats my strengths?

Answers: If these describe your work ethics:

*responsible
*a team player
*detailed oriented
*reliable
*dependable
Try to come up with something. For example, are you detail-oriented, great with computers, or good at sales?

Check the job description, and see what strengths the job requires. Try to match that, without lying.
tell them what your strengths are.
