New opportunity at Starbucks... I be wondering what the insurance is going to cost??
After 3 months I can get insurance... I own 3 children ages 3, 8, and 9. I want to cover them and myself for med. dental and vision. Can someone who works near, or used to work there dispense me a "guesstimate" on what this will cost per month?Answers: It depends, are you working full time or part time. Starbucks have really good benefits, even better since you solitary have to work constituent time to qualify.
The cost per month wouldn't be valid unless you asked someone that works in your nouns, costs vary state by state. You can call for the Benefits line and only just ask for a quote. Then you might want to get insurance quotes from other companies to compare it to. If your individual income is Starbucks or you fall in guidelines - why don't you sign up for government benefits? You are one soul that would definitely deserve the facilitate, and that is what they are in that for - hard times.
Through Starbucks you retribution 25% of the premium, Starbucks pays 75%. But, I have to mention, hopefully you are working contained by a productive store with lots of business. Starbucks announced Howard D. Schultz have taken on another role as Chief Executive and is still going to keep his place as Chairman. The Starbucks stock have plummeted from bad business moves and competition. But, he is going to close underperforming Starbucks locations and halt the swift growth of Starbucks within the US.

What hours do ultrasound technologists typically work?
Do they "normally" work day shifts, swings, or I don`t know even graves?Answers: I work in a free-standing imaging center. Our bureau is only amenable M-F, from 8-5. So, those are the only hours I work. Some free-standing imaging centers work subsequent into the evening and/or on Saturdays.
In a hospital imaging center, most sonographers are scheduled to work on morning shift. Some hospitals also staff for the PM shift (usually 3-11). Sonographers working in a hospital will rotate through an on-call calendar. If a patient requests an ultrasound scan when the ultrasound department doesn't have a sonographer on site, the hospital will bring surrounded by the on-call sonographer. The hospital must always own someone on call for weekends, night and holidays.
Graveyard shifts would be rare within ultrasound. I guess some of the very sizeable medical centers might staff 24 hours a day, but I enjoy never worked anywhere that did this..
It depends on the setting you work in. In a hospital, u/s techs may be on-call, working many hours that change from hours of daylight to day. If working within a doctor's office, the tech will work the typical hours of operation for the department, 8 or 9 am to 5 or 6 pm. If the tech travels with a freestanding imaging company, they typically work 2 or 3 days a week, but beside longer hours on those days (maybe 10-12 hours).
