What does a business owner do?

I am doing a project and l want to know what a business owner does. So far all I get is they get to hire and fire workers/people :(

Answers: Well, they're responsible for everything. They hold to make sure that everyone does what desires to be done, and if someone doesn't do it, they have to steep in or come within and fix it. They have to come up next to the money to cover paychecks if the business doesn't make plenty money one month (which happens pretty often), and they have to amount out how to expand the business when it needs to, or how to shrink it when that;s needed. There are so plentiful things, but just believe that the owner is responsible for everything that anybody does, and that starts to explain it.
they are the ones responsible for all the financial details.

they might also be within charge of advertising, paying bills, paying human resources, opening strange accounts with different vendor and distributors,
basically--
they're the ones with the money.
It in reality depends on the size of the business.

If its a small business ( like mom and pop stores ), after the business owner does everything with some assistance from a few employees. Practically adjectives tasks from the start to the end of the business daytime. Even beyond - like accounting and report preparation ( resembling tax / administration reporting ) are done after regular business hours.

Have a nice day !
I give attention to if you want to know what does a business owner do is to participate surrounded by working in the business involved what you are looking for. A business owner is not basically do hiring and firing that simple. Frankly, there are more than 80% of Hong Kong small businesses are spill out under the following category. 1) 20-30% are already bankrupt for financial problems cause by competition among the business of the same category, plus extra high over-heads and, extremely the rental costs. They are still operating and advertising for bright dick head to clutch over, then they needn't repay that much debts. 2)There are certainly ten times small businesses more than it really nedded and only in the region of 10% viable small business existing in Hong Kong. 3) The Hong Kong governing body wanted to rip stale the small business operators by conspired next to the landlords to raise the rent by 200-300% within the past two years to earnings off the 200,000 overpaid Hong kong civil servants and top standing officials within Hong Kong. Can you afford to pay, for example, Donald Tsang Yum-keun, the Hong Kong chief executive $430,000 HK, exact four times as much as your US former president, Bill Clinton made.
The business owners within Hong Kong are actively to look for new buyers to steal over their losing money business. There daily routine is try to squirrel away energy by dimming their lights within the stores that they can not afford to have their power cut past its sell-by date.
They are going to hunt for cheaper products mainly from China. How am I going to grasp rid of the over crowded out dated products stucked all over the ** tresses store? How I am going to down sizing my store? I am losing 50k per month, what is my next step? Can any one pass me a catchall phrase to solve my multi-store problems?
It's not that simple as you say, my friend! I individually know business owners have lost from 500k to 5million surrounded by Hong Kong in former times two years.
Yes, it really depends on the size of the business and what type of business you are talking give or take a few.

Take for example, the Mcdonalds Corp. The boss or the CEO of the company is not in charge of any hard to please store but is in charge of the complete companies operations. The CEO hires manager who will usually manage regional areas and they hire manager who run districts who hire managers who run individual stores.

If your chitchat about small business, afterwards yes the owner will do everything from hiring to firing, accounting, payroll, financing, even the technology involved. It seems close to your dealing more with the small business.

There are a great deal of things that you can talk around i suggest you do research on how to start a small business to get more information on how that works. As for day after day activities it will depend on the type of company.

For example, contained by a bakery, the owner might be one of a couple cooks who will bake the bread so that might be one of his project. He may also be the guy who counts the money daily to turn into the sandbank. He will deal next to paying the rent for the shop. He needs to receive his business license.

Pls help out me next to a relieving note format?

Answers: Standard business format.

How would you cope near have a college scope & living surrounded by a small town next to NO job?

Kroger's wouldn't even hire me! Not that I want to work there, but something is better than nil. People tell me I hold to swallow my pride & settle for less.

It feel like if I don't catch a job FAST, consequently I won't be able to clear off my student loans, & I won't be capable of move to a bigger town where in attendance are more jobs. All they own is grocery, retail, teaching, & express food. My GPA isn't high ample to get don certification, due to my mental disability.

I grain stuck & trapped. There's no way for me to wave backwards and forwards out of this.

Answers: Go to www.usajobs.gov and apply for federal jobs adjectives over. If you get a charge you can move. There might even be something at a federal place 30 miles away that you didn't know about. Also apply for state job online. You might also contact a friend or relative who lives in a city and find out if you can stay near them for a month while you job hunt. By the approach, you don't need a instructor certificate to drill at a private school or morning care center.
filch what you can get and start in your favour
work 2 jobs if inevitability be and conserve your resources
put away enough money to survive surrounded by the city of your dreams for 2 months.

prior to moving apply at as many places as possible, brush up your resume', grasp work and personal references together, practice interview skills(there are on-line sites near sample questions) and next make your move. honourable luck
I would move. I hope that's an option for you, although I realize it may not be.

Perhaps a long-distance (commuter) career or a job through the Internet would work for you if you are powerless to relocate.
Here is my advice, help yourself to whatever opportunity you can get right immediately. There are no bad job, you have to earn your stripes, it sucks but you enjoy to start somewhere and you have bills to rate. While you are doing your less than partiality job, start to assume about what you would love to do and start doing it. By that I parsimonious, while you are earning money at one mission, start your own business on the side or in spare time of something that you would LOVE to do. Make a record of things that make you cheery and concentrate on finding a product or service that would match.

But the truth is you have to receive a job to earnings the bills and NOBODY starts off doing their dream livelihood no matter what their height of education. But you can brand name it easier, if you start to plan something else while you do this job. Believe me, I own done some crappy jobs surrounded by my time BUT I have well-read something from all of them.

You are individual trapped if you think you are. You can do doesn`t matter what you want, it just will lift some time, sweat and perserverance. Good Luck!
jivebaby...

great advice...move about for it..
Almost as frustrating as having a college amount in a big town beside no jobs...both situations own their challenges. Actually near are plenty of jobs within my town, and many folks are doing slightly well, but as the chink between the "haves and the have nots" verbs to widen, I clandestinely yearn for the das when I lived contained by a small town and we were adjectives pretty much positioned at eye level near each other.
