What are some skills to work in the government?
Answers: Ability to take long lunch breaks
Surliness
Absenteeism
The skills necessary for working in the government are as broad as the ocean is wide. Most government (state, county, federal) hire anything from maintenance to expert scholars. Check the link below to find different openings in the federal government. Start with things you're interested in.
Honestly, I've worked in the federal government and in state government and have learned that there are some very motivated people in those agencies. However, one skill you will need is patience. Things move slowly in government and you will run into coworkers who fit the stereotype of lazy and wasteful.
Does a company have to pay for physical therapy to an injured worker?
Answers: if they are covered by Workman's comp then yes, there are however certain exceptions, like contractor status, 1 person operation, etc
True, I agree with rw; Workmans comp is set up for that purpose. If you did not report the injury then you probably won't get this benefit. If you are not an actual employee, you are out on this benefit as well. If you are an employee and have filed the injury, you are required to follow all the steps designated by the doctor they assign you to. Physical therapy comes when you have finished with the doctor appointments and immediate medical treatment. Then you will get physical therapy sessions to get the limb back into a working physical state. Make sure you attend all required appointments because a final report is taken at the end and if you miss or refuse, this is an "x" against you. I worked in rehabilitation for several years plus my husband was severely injured on the job and he had to undergo lots of appointments.
Should I ask my boss for a put on a pedestal?
I have be with the company for over a year presently and feel that I hold done a very polite job for the company. Im in fact thinking of looking for another job if I dont receive a elevate and benefits. Would you recommend telling my boss that I want a lift or I will be looking for other employment? It is a small business, I understand. I close to my job most days :) Just not sure if unfolding them I want a raise and benefits or Im looking for another profession is a good theory. Should I just look for another errand and then brind it up? Thanks for your warning.Answers: You can get the upper foot if you have unmarked work lined up. Then you can read aloud that another company is interested in your skills and be paid sure you mention the pay as resourcefully. Tell them to match it because you intend to filch the best offer; but also describe them that you enjoy working for them although this is the lone part i.e. keeping you from staying. You don't need to influence that you are looking, just that someone approached you.
At the wind up of one year they should have raise you. Analyzing the company - maybe they just work within a lasting budget and will not afford retention incentives. Although you are an asset they may consider your position replaceable. You could ask, listing justification, and see what happens. Would not agree to no action received influence performance/attitude. Could any continue on and hope for at lowest possible a cost of living rise in the adjectives or apply elsewhere.
