Filling out a duty application online, should I request an interview?
I haven't had to apply for a up to date job for over 10 years. Now everything is as a rule done on the computer. I applied online for a part-time available job, I didn't get to come upon the manager. Should I dance in and have a word to the manager and request an interview?Answers: Ya know Haysaw, I would. Nothing replaces eyeball to eyeball. And it works both ways!

If you utter you quit your assignment, could your employer LEGALLY stress you fired if he/she required to?
That happened to me when I be in my Sr. yr. contained by high arts school 7 yrs. ago, working (a) Popeye's.Now my friend is going through the same dilemma. She quit 2 days ago, & she even put contained by a "30 day" notice surrounded by advance, fairly than a 2-week one. Her sister is sick & has be having angry seizures (1 of her other sisters who's 16), & not a soul else is really there to bear care of her. & her other sister (the 17-yr. outdated bad girl), of late had surgery, & she's Bipolar beside ADHD, & she's STILL acting wild, & everyone is upset for her. She still never recovered. They're trying to get her put fund in the hospital.
My friend's supervisor & coworkers are upset because they imagine she was a great asset, & she be the ONLY one who did her job properly & thoroughly. They touch like if they don't enjoy her, then they don't enjoy anyone. So when she finally said she quit, her supervisor's supervisor said, "No. You didn't quit. You're terminated." My friend was similar to, "WTF?"
Answers: Being terminated should allow her to file for laying-off benefits. If she were to quit, she may not be qualified.
Ok economically she can now go and get unemployment... her boss did her a favor
I wouldn't verbs too much about it looking desperate on her work history. Any prospective employer will most likely phone call her ex-employer anyway
An employer cannot legally do this but they clearly can cause trouble if they will. All they would have to enunciate is that she is not eligible for rehire and that would say it adjectives even though she did give sense.
She may want to talk to the labor board and see what features of limitations she can put on what they can tell a adjectives employer.

I received a impossible conduct discharge 10 years ago...?

Who gave you the doomed to failure conduct discharge? If it was the military next you lose any hiring benefit (veteran's preference) that most government job have. Which would put you application below those beside a veteran's preference.
If you get a discharge from a previous government opportunity, a different agency may be reluctant to hire you. If it was a discharge from a private employer, it may not thing -- depends on the need to hire and the regulations for hiring.
