How do you obtain hired at Bank of America?

Im 18 years old, a illustrious school graduate, out going. Currently putting college on hold till subsequent year. I recently applied for a few sandbank teller positions online full/part time opening at Bank of America and North Island Credit Union because I got the required 6 months currency handling experince at my old duty. Like usual you get a email responses saw.." thanks for applying, we will review your application." Its be 2 days since I applied. I really want a job as a mound teller for adjectives experience and many other things. I haven't hear from anyone yet...

-should I call upon the Hiring Manager and ask for the status of my application? Or does the Human Resources take assistance of hiring people?

-How can I draw from their attention so that they hire ME?

-Lastly how long does the hiring process take?

Thanks, great answers are greatly much appreciated! :)

Answers: You need to apply on queue. http://www.bankofamerica.com
Yes, they send you out "thank you" e-mail. If you are qualified to the position you applied for, HR sends you out the acknowledgement by e-mail (used for history keeping until you get hired, once you take hired they will use it to check your background history). Some time it take a couple of days, somtimes it takes a week etc. It depends. After acknowledgement process is done, you draw from calls from hiring superior for an interview.

As far as I know, HR takes care of hiring process most part, and I wouldn't recommend you to nickname HR nor hiring managers. They hold so many applicants to review, so, you requirement to be patient.

Most of the guard now days, have cross selling goals per daylight. You need to be positive nearly the goal. And, once you get hold of
hired, you need to be certified as desk clerk, otherwise, they need to fire you. It is difficult to get hold of a job as bank clerk, but, keeping teller position is difficult, too. Keep it contained by your mind.

Good luck
Have you had significant dosh handling and customer service experience? Most 18 year olds that I know are not ready for these sorts of positions. They may give the impression of being easy, but you must enjoy a professional demeanor. I would suggest working elsewhere that would require professionalism and reapply in a few years.

Here's one for the group:
At 18 can you be hired to work surrounded by a bank or must you skulk until you are 21?

Just a question. For some justification, I thought you couldn't work at places like that until you be 21 because of insurance and the like.

Answers: Make up a portfolio of examples of the types of work you can do. Show it shops, boutiques, etc. and extend to sell on consignment. Or you could do craft shows/flea market on the weekends whenever you have the time.
of late make up a few examples of things you know you can produce a few of, afterwards go round independent offering shops and anywhere that sells stuff similar to that try and get them to pocket a *** of the stock on sale or return. They should catch a cut too. Good luck!
