What is the best passageway to find a nanny position?

I am considering becoming a Nanny(I am experienced) and I would like to move to a latest state preferably, NY, CA or Fl and find a live-in position. What is the best way to do this??

Answers: Sunday NY Times have domestic help needed ads by family looking for nannies and by nannies looking for positions. That is how I found my nannies. If I were you I would check to see if the Los Angeles Times have the same domestic comfort wanted division. There are also agencies, but the nanny usually pays the fee. If you own experience and references, you shouldn't hold to go through an agency.

References on an application?

Do people ever/is it above-board to put your partner down as a personal reference on an application. Also, it's not a career application, it's an application for volunteering at a library.

Answers: Yes, they are a "personal" reference not professional.
No worries.
Usually you CANNOT use a relative, friend, or spouse (or gf/bf) on the huge majority of any kind of opening application.

This may or may not be different for a volunteer work depending on the place you are to be working at.

For my volunteer job at a hospital contained by Jr. high, I have to complete a training program, have my trainer report final on me, and submit a letter from a coach or my principal.

Depending on the job, a quotation from a partner may not be accepted. It also looks somewhat unprofessional and is recurrently not acceptable.

References are collectively former bosses, coworkers, supervisors, teachers, professors, coaches, instructors, or other such nation. If the person is a nearest and dearest friend, but works in a profession you would resembling to enter (i.e. MD), they may be allowed to give a quotation on your behalf.

Your best bet is to ask.

Good luck!
Yeah that is cool

Has anyone ever go to a assignment honourable?

If so how was your experience?

Answers: I hold been to the employment fairs at my place of work, simply to check out the other positions available.
