Careers Employment Questions and Answers

At the interview, the potential employer asked what is you gross in a minute.?

Then he asked what salary are you looking for. I said one and the same (only because the job would be smaller amount responsibilities). What do you think the potential employer thought?

Answers: Perfectly middle-of-the-road.

This can be tricky - especially when your interviewing for a job which hasn't advertise the salary.

You be honest, and made it clear you were asking for what your worth. If the employer like you, he'll be thinking "I'd better sort out my budget for hiring this person!"

If he's a cheapskate, he may be thinking "too expensive", but afterwards thats his loss, not yours!

Don't be afraid to call or email after an interview to thank the interviewer for their time and to ask for feedback.

Good luck!
