Careers Employment Questions and Answers

JOB CHANGE. I'm exploring clean charge possibilities, full/part time, that could bring surrounded by fully clad money. Any planning?

Should I get a real-estate license? Baby-sitting agency? I enjoy a degree, and also some start-up money for introductory a business, but can't make up my mind on the exact nouns of work.

I went to SCORE next to a business idea, and they said it be great and unique, but that I would simply break even by the end of respectively month..

I just thought of becoming an Eng/Span court interpreter, it pays (privately) $ 100 an hour, but the taste test I took online showed me that simultaneous interpretation ain't glib..

Thank you in finance for your ideas!

Answers: Unfortunately I do not own an idea, as I find myself surrounded by the exact same situation. I can't really quit my job because of commitments we already enjoy; have thought of getting a proletarian while my business ramps up (I am thinking of becoming an English-Spanish freelance translator, a work that I surely love to do) but that won't get me any closer to the benign of monthly income that I need, at most minuscule not during the first year or so.

You do mention having some start-up money which is great. How more or less a franchise in an industry related to your other craft interests? you would have the flexibility to provide other services while the franchise grows. Good luck near that, and hopefully you soon find a creative solution!

Answers: The boss always make the rules. You should look for other work.
ur on call. no minimum.
time to take hunting new employment.
No there isn't, but I would start looking for another livelihood if they didn't have some consistency around it.
A company only have to pay you for time that you in actual fact worked. Some companies do have what is call reporting pay, which is reimburse (usually 4 hours on an 8 hour shift) that an employee will receive if a shift is canceled although the hand was equipped to work.

However, this does not appear to be your situation. So unfortunately here is little that you can do. I would suggest looking for a more stable position.
No. Alot of employers, above all in the retail sector, cuts module time employees to exposed minimum hours (sometimes zero hours) within January and February particularly because its the slowest time of the year. Its tough on the piece timers but with business at its slowest, employer can't keep a full staff similar to they can other times of the year.
