How do I switch a boss who is belittling me?
He is not my boss he is in another department but, my department and his work mitt in mitt. I am not in a supervisory position but, not long his boss who is everyone's boss asked me to send an e-mail out about problems in our system that be happening. I have the head boss approve my e-mail prior to sending it. Well this guy after sent a reply, to all, axiom that what his department was doing be a must, then he mentioned my mark and said that what I was discussion about and go on to explain. He ended his e-mail next to "Then the world can go fund to rotating, and we can all live surrounded by peace and harmony".This guy is three levels above me, but, I go to talk to him just about it. Just as I was chitchat to him about it, the organizer walked and asked him going on for the e-mail. He then started tomfoolery and changed the subject. This is not the only time he have done something like this. On a different episode he called me a Dumbass. I own been sucking things up but, I am tired of it. What should I do?
Answers: First you must CYOA.If possible you must document adjectives incidents. Date, time, the comment or event that happen, and if anyone else be around that might have over hear it. After you have everything documented later go and see the boss, showing him your documentation. If you CYOA you will not enjoy anything to worry just about. Have you every thought that maybe he is worried that sooner or later you might become his boss...
if and when he ever puts you in a position resembling that you get a BACKBONE,,,,,,,,,,describe him,,,,,,,,,,,,I do NOT have to listen to this and I REFUSE to listen to it. I am a human mortal and For That Reason ALONE, I DESERVE to be treated with dignity and respect, and I WILL NOT tolerate anything smaller amount from you, then GO DIRECTLY TO HIS BOSS!! and report a formal complaint, letting his boss know you have go through the chain of command beside no results and he/she was the subsequent step.

Background check, who pays for it if employer requires it.?
This is in the state of Texas and I am asked to wage a $50 fee to do the check beside fingerprint.Answers: The boss makes the rules. If he requirements $50 and you want the job you discharge $50... but why work for someone who you are already unhappy beside?
Nope, I sure wouldn't.
UNLESS, it's for a professional licensure that you will take near you.
But if an employer is too cheap to pay for your own setting check, then I would be concerned if they could afford to settle up me at all.
