Is near anything my friend can do to report her planner?

I am not sure what if anything can be done like a formal complaint or something, but my friend lately called me really upset because she have her review today, and her manager told her that she have bad interpersonal relationship sklls because she have complained (after many times unfolding the guy to leave her alone) more or less a man that was constantly asking her out and making sleazy comments give or take a few her, and it got worse after she complained. and also contained by the review the man (manager) said that she would never be a supervisor because shes a woman. she said that after she got out she talk with some of the other females and find out that he have said the same piece about not ever becoming a supervisor because they are women to at tiniest two other women. the fact that she said that around women really disturbs me. i doubt she will even do anything but isnt that reason to directory like an annonymous complaint or something? or am i overreacting because i consistency bad for her?

Answers: Oh my decency! Your friends needs to go before straight to the HR department. She has be subjected to both sexual harassment and sexual category discrimination, both of which are evil as described in the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. If the HR department fail to appropriately address the issue she should contact the local EEOC office within her area or approaching state agency as she is working in a hostile work environment.

If relations refuse to stand up, behavior resembling this will continue to surface. The only corrective performance here would be immediate dismissal of the bureaucrat pending an investigation as you would expect.
This is very serious and is a BIG shield of sexual harassment.
If this is true your friend should contact an employment attorney immediately!
You are not overreacting. Your friend`s coordinator broke the sexual discrimination perform in the workplace and to be exact a serious offence. The first entity you should do is to advise your friend to report this to better management than your friends current planner maybe the HRM department if her workplace have one. If this doesnt work she could see if her workplace has an member of staff union which could assist her deal next to the problem. There is one called tssa which deal specifically with sexual nouns. This website might give you further suggestion.

You distinctly need to detail your friend to go to a legal representative along with the other women rather. It also wouldn't hurt if she could get him and the mediator on tape. Now I don't contemplate you can use a recorded cassette if they don't know your recording them but you can diary it then type it up. Best to articulate to the lawyer to be sure. If the legal representative thinks it advisable also turn over that manager's head. But best to see what the attorney says first but patently get some proof first.
SHE ABSOLUTELY SHOULD FILE A COMPLAINT. Her company should have a Compliance Office. If it does not, afterwards she must go to HR and wallet a complaint. She should absolutely not agree to her manager procure away with this loving of sex discrimination.

Now, the bit about her interpersonal skills..I can't influence much about that since I don't know your friend. I would simply say to her to craft sure that she has not said or done anything indecorous when communicating with the man that be asking her out. She could also file a complaint against this man for sexual maltreatment if she so chooses (and she should so choose).

I'm sorry to hear that she has be treated so poorly.
Here is the problem.

1. She has a satchel.

2. A case that can most predictable not be proven.

All he is going to do is deny the statements were made.

Attorney's don't surplus their times on cases that can't be won.

I'm shy, English is not my 1st jargon, the reduction is bleak... will I ever find a duty?

I graduated next to a degree contained by Computer Science but with no practical experience. I enjoy never worked before. I am greatly shy, and my communication skills are very poor. My voice doesn't even come out when I'm on interviews. because I'm shy and also because I don't get the impression super confident speaking in English because it is not my first prose.

The next article is going to sound unpromising, but I'm Mexican. And unfortunately some employer just see us as populace who can just work mowing lawns, wash dishes, or cleaning restrooms. I see it in their eyes.

Why do I say aloud this? because I've had friends who are also shy and desperate at communicating (no experience, and so on),,, but since their country doesn't have a doomed to failure stereotype in the US they attain hired over me.

As you see, I have everything against me. I can't even attain a job as a teller on grocery store. I am very depressed. Sometimes I muse the solution is to go final to Mexico, but maybe I'm purely escaping reality and shyness will other be ..

Answers: I'm sorry you're feeling depressed! It is a impressively difficult time right now to be looking for work. I hope you don't reason everyone feels that means of access about Mexicans, because I know I don't! I work next to plenty of immigrants and natives, and their intelligence and aptitude depends on the individual, not their ethnicity. The first point you should try to do is work on getting over your shyness. Practice interviews with a friend or family connections member, stand up straight, smile, craft eye contact and remember that you're smart! Try looking for work through a temp agency, that will help you procure some of the necessary experience as in good health as some exposure to the working world. Best of luck!
You do well to sanction where you are thin. The next step is to overcome those weakness. This has to embezzle priority over applying for jobs.

You can overcome shyness. You can overcome vernacular difficulties. You can even overcome your prejudice against employers, at lowest possible far enough to avoid have it apparent.

One article that you must portray is that you expect everyone to want to use your expertise, and will be happy to overlook your residency.
There is one thing few employer would be willing to transport a chance on: an hand with a chip on the shoulder, expectation to be discounted on commentary of nationality.

Shyness is such a refusal that it simply must be overcome. Fortunately it can be. Ask for help on shyness separately.
So, find a track to learn more English and use that to your power. once you learn more and are comfortable possibly you can take a few classes swot up something new and become a translator for a local hospital or something next to the schools.Maybe you can walk to the local adult teaching ans work with someone near and in turn relieve someone else in the long run who is inkling like you.
Good Luck!!
Where did you obtain your Computer Science degree? Your conservatory can usually help you near leads for employment. Even though you hold not yet held a profession, you should have some sample of your work that you can show a prospective employer. Get some help beside your resume. Make sure that it shows your talents to your power.

Being bilingual can be a big advantage. Your English is obedient for being a second terminology (I should know, I am an ESL teacher).

Do some thinking about what you want your post to be. Then target companies that can provide that type of job. A Computer Science scope is in constraint. Again, your school should know how to help you target companies that desire your talent. If they can't help, move about online to some of the big job posting sites (monster.com, etc.) and read the proposal links on how to create a great resume, how to interview, etc.

Are you able to work rightfully in the US? If so, you will probably enjoy a higher net than you would in Mexico. but that would depend on where on earth you are from in Mexico. The larger cities (DF, Monterrey, etc.) would generosity a bilengual employee. Of course, the right company within the US would also welcome you beside open arms.

As I see it, you own a lot of option. Please don't get discouraged. Organize your thoughts and travel for it!! Good Luck!
Being a legal resident alien is not a desperate thing, but using it as an excuse to not try is a doomed to failure thing.

My husband (who is so shy I have to practically sit on him to get him to progress on our first date) is also in computers - most of you guys are for a moment less than social and that's okay! the world would be pretty boring if everyone be the same.

If you are emotion unsure of your job prospects surrounded by your current location, I would suggest looking in different parts of the country for something that suits, and applying within writing to start.

When you go for that all-important frontage to face interview, practice chitchat out loud to yourself while looking contained by a mirror before mitt. Practice using a loud, clear, firm tone for each sound out you may be asked. When you get to the interview, do not be appologetic, but direct, and envision that you are once again looking at yourself within the mirror when answering interview questions.

Most Human Resource empire who will interview you will be aware that tech people are by make-up very reticent and not-social (I am calculatedly not saying anti-social, as explicitly not the same point as being shy).

You may also want to practice breathing (much close to a pregnant lady does) to restful and center yourself. Good luck with your errand search.
I think through perfectly how u get the impression because I have feel the same method before! Im Mexican too I come to The US 4 years ago and believe me that I still have problems when Im speaking contained by English. I know it is hard to win ready of what make you feel discomfited. I recommend you to be less shy and be more break open to anything otherwise you are going to stay right there be you are now. Unfortunately it is true that American nation see mexicans as incapable people. I focus the best thing to do is to start looking for modern opportunities trust me u will find some! Just be more positive and dont acquire depressed because that is not goin to clutch you anywhere. Believe in yourself and you will find the solution to the problem that is to say keeping u away from been sucessful surrounded by life.

What should I do for a trade and how do I achieve in attendance?

I'm nearly 30 and don't have a level, I've been studying for a decree degree but not much nouns (this is my second term, first year, slice time evenings).
I'm thinking I'm not cut out to do academic stuff, not much honest at writing essays or assignments.
I'm bored with my current assignment (admin, although I'm good at it).
I appear to be good beside words (I'm no broadsheet writer though!) and my strengths appear to be communicating with inhabitants, finding information for people, and working through greatly of boring work very ably.
I want to get qualified for something, but I don't want to do studying or exams or essays etc. I'm not flawless at that. Would prefer something like practical work followed by multiple choice test or something, or perhaps one and the same structure as NVQ's (I have an NVQ3).

Answers: Getting qualified system writing essays and doing exams. You say you are pious with words, so you should be OK at essays.
Trust me, certainly everyone finds it very not easy to write essays and do exams, and especially law which is exceptionally tough. I dream up you've chosen the wrong subject to study but if you want to be "Qualified" for something then the one and only way is an pedantic approach. It's hard, but if it isn't concrete it ain't worth anything! Like NVQ, which only funds "yes I can do the job that I am currently emplyed to do, here's a piece of daily to prove it". In other words, it is worth very little.

No agony, no gain mate!! Good luck! ;)
Make an appointment with your local duty centre, its possible that within might be an opening at hand but certainly within are people who could have a chat to you about your option. If you are in the London nouns what about becoming a researcher to an MP. If you enjoy a caring personality you could start an NVQ in the charitable profession, I don't think it is more than ever well compensated but it would be rewarding. Your local council or tourist information office may requirement a good communicator who will find information for race. The tourist information office surrounded by Edinburgh is very busy. With your brief flirtation next to law hold you thought of becoming a police officer and something totally random the medium are bringing to our attention how badly the country wishes midwives - well its a thought. I have a male midwife attend me just the once.
