Work to live or live to work?
Discuss...Answers: Easy answer. The first one...
I will say '' you work and live''
receive a job, more money, life's beaming.
Work to live - For people who depend on money to earn a living etc.
Live to work - People who hold an obsession near their job!
Personally I would shift for the 1st one.
Here in America the social norm is Live FOR work as anti countries such as Spain its a more of the Work to Live concept. Where having flashy things and the biggest and best isn't contained by the forefront of its citizens minds. Its nice to have nice things but its better to be cheery with what you enjoy than to never be satisfied.

In Califnornia, is more than 8 hours contained by a work morning overtime or makeup time?
Say you were sick on Monday or departed early on Monday and you work 10 hours on another hours of daylight that week. Is that extra 2 hours overtime or makeup time? Lets go a step further. Lets say aloud you were sick on Monday and Tuesday, would working 24 hours straight on Wednesday be at the common hourly rate since you have to variety up Monday and Tuesday!?Answers: Depends on company policy, union policy, and whether you own signed anything that says that you must work 40 hours per week since qualifying for overtime (because you can do that too).
Most employer will allow you to make up time at your average rate of pay.
Information re: California Overtime can be found here:

JJ your time is 8 hrs. within a day anything over specifically over time.
Check you labor laws at your local library
This depends on your companies overtime policy. If your company dictates that anything over 8-hours a daylight is overtime, then you would obtain 2 hours at overtime pay. However, must companies bequeath overtime for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek. Even if you worked 10 hours in the future, but missed some time that week giving you a total of lets articulate 38 hours for the week... you would not get any overtime.
Check your hand handbook to check the policy.
If you enjoy a union contract...it is what it is.if you don't it is what your boss say it is.sorry
