Attain Pharmacy Tech Cert within Texas w/o courses?

I've heard of a few empire in Texas who studied some books afterwards just rewarded the registration and application fees to get their citations, is this really possible? I've been going to college to bring a computer science degree since the college I run to didn't have the courses available. I didn't enjoy money to pick up and move so I was character of stuck. Now they have them but I don't own the $ or time to start another career pavement. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciatied!

Answers: Pharmacy Technician Registration contained by Texas requires national certification unless you own been continuously employed as a pharmacy tech oveer 10 years or are surrounded by a county with a population smaller quantity than 50,000 and are granted exemption by the Texas Board of Pharmacy.

In order to run the Certification Exam you must have some training. This can be conducted through a pharmacy underneath the direction of a pharmacist or in a college program.

Very strange grill?

so I've been applying for job and I cam across a job faster for a dental assistant. so I emailed my resume, I got an instant reply asking for hours I'm available and stuff approaching that. then I take to the bottom and there is an curious request. It said to please email a photo of me from the waist up for better applicant processing? what does that mean? is that similar to a form of sexual harassment or something? or is the dr looking for a hot assistant or big chested? I'm really confused and is this even decriminalized? please help

Answers: Yes, discriminating on the argument of age, gender, see, religious beliefs, disability, or sexual orientation is immoral and considered harassment. Having said that, it would not be wicked for a potential employer to want a picture attached to your resume. Especially if you e-mailed it and not hand deliver it. Do not go bad the deep ruin and automatically assume that the employer is discriminating against its applicants. It is not illegal for an employer to dispense interviews to clean, presentable, and ably put-together individuals. Employers do have the right to hire a personality who has a indisputable image or appearance i.e. required to perform the work. If the employer have wanted a picture since allowing you the opportunity to apply, you may have a grip of discrimination. There may be a panel or committee assigned to interview applicants, and a picture would become conversant with the panel with respectively applicant (putting a face beside a name). The waist-up picture would be a good common rule to get a virtuous look at your face. I wouldn't bring back too upset over this, but you should always check your individual state's law. If that doesn't satisfy you, you can hope legal recommend. Some want to charge for this some do not.
ICK~! That sounds fishy.
I've never heard of this beforehand unless it was a modeling career or something.

I would question it.
It is OK, budge and face interview. If he have any bad design, you will come to know. You do not have to stick beside him.
He may be good also. Any instrument go facade him.
Best of luck and GOD bless you.
This is definetly illegal. If they want to see what you look similar to they ask you for an interview.

This could be considered preferential hiring. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) would be very interested contained by hearing nearly this.
if they wanted to do something close to make sure you have good teeth, they needed to do it during the interview. for a dental assistant assignment, they don't need to know what you look approaching ahead of time (unlike jobs contained by acting/modeling, etc.).

if you do get call for an interview, be very secretive of the type of working environment at an office that requires pictures of assistants to be submitted prior to person hired.
No, this is not illegal. It may give the impression of being shallow and even morally or ethically wrong, but there is no imperative regarding hiring attractive race.

This employer is trying to weed out the NFO... often hear in the employment services industry (temps, contractors). This mode "Not Front Office" or in simpler expressions, they would rather enjoy an very attractive frontage that is greeting the public, as opposing one that is "smaller amount attractive" than desired.

This is done in thousands interviews across the country every time. And having your picture included near your CV or your resume is not always a discouraging idea.

Clearly this employer desires to see who they are considering for interviews, as well as their credentials.

Questionable activities for a business, perhaps, but it is not immoral.
Call the dentist office & ask them why they want the photo.

You can do this surrounded by a polite & professional manner, explaining that you own never heard of this beforehand & you were basically curious about the process.

I suppose it is harmless, but if you are that upset by it, newly call & ask them.
