That is low but if you really want the job. People are willing to take the pay and work their way up but you'll have to budget big time. But like I said - if you really really want it you'll make the sacrifice to get what you want.

How much can you trade name within a week as a medical transcript?
how much is the average you can make a week as a medical transcript and doing it from your home?Answers: It's fluctuating. There's really no "average". Many transcriptionists who work for a transcription service or even as hospital employees are remunerated on production, i.e., so many cents per queue. But the rate of pay and even what constitutes a "line" differ widely. There are also incentives to factor within, such as QA percentages (accuracy of transcription as determined by erratic QA checks), production premiums (so many lines produced over a dependable minimum), shift premiums, etc. And if you're an independent contractor, it all vary even more.
It's possible to make a comfortable living within medical transcription, and it's also possible to work very easier said than done and struggle to get by. Much depends on who you work for, how nifty you are, and your own flexibility. That's about adjectives I can tell you.
Depend on whether you work on the hourly spring, or so much for transcript.
