What will happen if I quit my job while on a contract?
Answers: It depends on the terms of the contract. I have broken an employment contract, and all I lost was half my signing bonus. If you can prove that they lied to you about your terms of employment, it would be easier to break the contract.
uhmm..it depends..
just be sure yOu wOn't do something iLeGaL..
some companies will sue you.
Talk to your supervisor first and let them know you are going to need to resign. Give them a rational and hard-to-argue reason for your decision (moving away from the area maybe because your spouse got a new job in another state, returning to school full-time, for example). You want to leave on a positive note and with them feeling that if it were not for the reason you gave for leaving you would have stayed at the job but it is beyond your control. They will let you know what you need to do to resign.
Can you renegotiate an official counter extend the subsequent afternoon?
I was offered a position that I believed salaried minimally $45k. I was offered $43k, but countered asking between $44-45k. They offered $44k so i standard. After mulling it over last darkness, I really want a min of $45k. It seems similar to a small amount to haggle over, but i am just curious, is it discouraging business or poor professionalism to go stern on an accepted counter bestow the next year?Answers: It does seem to hold a bad connotation. Just bring in here, do a great job near a sense of passion, and you will probably be rewarded beside a raise.
That would be pretty unprofessional.
