I am going into Nursing, and I work at the hospital as a CNA and I dont get upset if someone dies, that bad?

Answers: I have been a nurse for 16 years & I have never cried when one of my patients has died. It doesn't mean that I am not a good nurse or a compassionate person. It means that I am doing my job. I am allowing my patient & thier family to embrace the death process with dignity & a modicom of stability. As a nurse, it is not your job to intwine yourself emotionally with the patient or family.you can be compassionate with out crying, caring with out grieving & empathetic while maintaining subjectivity.

Don't let anyone tell you what you should or should not be based on thier perception of what you should or shouldn't do.

Be who you are & be the best one out there!
That is not bad it is only a sign that you have become calloused to the event.

Oh hang in there. My big sister is a LPN or maybe an RN don't remember. She does hospis work and that might be something that you would be good at if death does not bother you.
not at all; your job as a nurse will be to make sure that these patients die with all of the comfort and dignity they're entitled to, and to advocate for them with other members of the health care team, and even with their own families (if they can't speak for themselves). it's a fine line to walk, but can be one of the most rewarding things in nursing.

What the HELL?

Ok so heres the thing. I hold an interview on Friday for a "scanning" position at a financial corp. I wanna know if anyone knows what this position requires and if its even worth my time. I didn't achieve the details from the woman on the phone, but if its not worth it.. I will cancel the interview. Can someone aid? What do they do? Is it a meaningless job..someone that couldnt read or count could do? Thanks adjectives.

Answers: We have a scan position at my company. It's basically an assistant that prepares documents for scan and then, economically scans them and stores them surrounded by the data warehouse.

Pay is going to depend largely on where on earth you live. If it's the type position I'm thinking of it pays around $10 an hour in Texas.
Keep a positive attitude and an initiate mind. If it is not the position for which you are looking, then you can other decline. In the interim, you can gain valuable interviewing experience.

That is my bearing of saying I don't know what the hell it is!
Scanning could scrounging anything from scanning software code to scan documents into a digital/optical storage system.

Typically, at a large financial corporation, nearby are thousands of documents that must be scanned into a database. Typically, the worker will type critical index numbers such as Purchase orders, Invoice numbers, and other indexes as the document is electronically scan so that it can be pulled up electronically at a later time.

Regardless, I'd walk into the interview and talk to them. You other have the chance of turning it down, but maybe they can preserve you in mind for something else when it become available. It's always well-mannered to get practice near interviewing, regardless of your experience level.
Yeah.probably. You will probably involve to be able to both read.and count.

Answers: Restaurant work is a great "for the time being" job, and also could be great lifetime work if it suits you. I started waiting table soon after high institution and am still doing it 7 years later. The payment is generally great, but not steady at adjectives, but you have to be a well brought-up people party. Smile, be attentive, and listen. It's at least paying the bills until you find something else, and restaurants mostly have a dignified turnover rate anyway
