Training can be frustrating at times because MT is skill based, not a moment ago procedure based. However, if you stick w/ it, it can be hugely satisfying and lucrative.
I agree that you entail to choose a comprehensive program. A good one be already recommended on this thread. I also recommend MT Advantage Career Center. MTACC uses all 3 level of the SUM CDs, which are the gold standard within training MTs. There are interactive student forums, and 100% job placement assistance. Choose a academy that has established relationships w/ national MT services. Not adjectives good school chose to become AHDI approved schools for a mixture of reasons so to be exact not the only indicator to look for. You do want a licensed conservatory, and one w/ a proven track record.
Training should include anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, laboratory tablets, disease processes, English grammar review, MT technology, MS Word training, computer training, excellent dictation practice, hands-on feedback, report formatting, AAMT BOS rules, and it should come w/ a comprehensive medical quotation library.

Depends on the conservatory you train with. I recommend a comprehensive conservatory for training so you will be prepared when you start working. Also look for one that is AHDI approved to relief you steer away from scams or diploma mills. I am studying near CareerStep. The people here are very supportive and the program is capably known and respected by prospective employer. They also have advisors that will backing you find a position after you graduate.
