Yes, I am occasionally called upon to provide a Mystery Shop to a major fast food chain. Other than that, I don't spy on fast food workers to make sure they are doing their jobs.
Airline pilot or nouns traffic controller?
I love to fly and im currently putting it off for 3 to 4 years because of my financial situation. im 21 so when i start going to academy for it i will be 24 25 and will probably start a job near a regional airline at about 27 i hope. that will contribute me 33 years in a job i would love. but i've heard that nouns traffic controllers make more money, and thats a turn on for me. which would you recommend or consider the most.Answers: Bavarian.I am currently an nouns traffic controller and when I was contained by my early 20's my job goal be to be an airline pilot. I earned my commercial licence, instructor certificate and other stuff. It wasn't until i was surrounded by my later 20's that I granted to become an air traffic controller, and here's why:
Unless you hold a LOT of spare cash (and I penny-pinching like at lowest possible $30,000-$50,000+) becoming a professional pilot incurrs a lot of debt. It's tremendously expensive and most people rack up a huge amount of student loans, etc. that they are powerless to pay sour, even with an airline employment, for many years. In contrast, you can complete your controller schooling for smaller number than $10,000, maybe even smaller number than $7,000 at some schools, and it singular takes just about 2 years.
Airline pilots do post some high salary, but those salaries are one and only held by a very small percentage the oldest, most experienced pilots within the biggest companies. Even after 20 years of experience the median salary for an airline pilot is smaller quantity than $100k/annually.
One major entity that detered me away from the airlines was that airline pilots enjoy very poor situation security. Airlines come and travel constantly, and as a pilot you are part of a business - if the profits are down, the first entry they do is cut salaries and lay-off pilots. Then your seniority is gone and you enjoy to start all over again! In your first years as a pilot you also spend several years flying low-paying (like $20k/annual) job with horrible schedule just to carry experience
Air traffic controllers, however, have greatly good duty security (you are your own collateral - as long as you don't have a focal screw-up, you have a job) as masses are needed right now, and they don't ever hold random lay-off's resembling the airlines. As a controller, once you finish your initial schooling at a college, you are PAID to get trained and after checking out (which take only a year or two) your income is just below $100k/annualy. The median income for air traffic controllers is around $105,000/annualy, and I would expect that number to rise over the next 10 years as at hand are so many controllers surrounded by training right now and a great deal of the old top-earners have/are retiring. Top earners contained by ATC make $175,000+ annually. Also within ATC you get deeply of great benefits too like great health/life insurance/retirement.
My just advice is that if you want to be a controller, don't put it past its sell-by date for too long because right now they are roughly accepting EVERYONE who is qualified for the job. They will probably verbs to do this for 5-7 more years and then after that it will become massively hard to be a controller as they will simply accept a few of the most highly-qualified candidate.
