Flight Attendants?

I am curious on how much has changed for an F/A since the terrorist attacks on 9/11? I am thinking of applying to be a Flight Attendant but a female I know who was one for 18 years say she quit because things weren't fun anymore after 9/11. Anyone out there who have before and after the attacks? Have things changed much?

Answers: Well, I do know allot of flight attendants and they read out that it is harder to get into the area and also stay to the field because of adjectives the security check to bring the job. They also require them to underneath go allot more training. That is pretty much standard from what I hear.
I dont ruminate thats its all the fun at adjectives. Unless you love kissing butt. I think the brief lost the glamour it once held back within the start of comercial avaition. Its long days & Short nights. Shure deposit matters enjoy changed but I dont think its hindered the post it self much.

After applying for a job, how long should I wait to contact the employer if I do not hear from them?

Answers: When you place your application with any job, talk to the hiring manager, don't give the application to anyone else. When giving it to the hiring manager, ask them when you may expect to hear from them. This is a good way to let the person know that you are serious about your application and are eager to be hired. Then, call them if you don't hear from them on the appointed time. Sometimes, although it's not uncommon, managers can forget that they gave you a time frame.then again, I like to see just how "hungry" an applicant is.
The one's that callback or stop in, usually get the first opening that I have.peace.Cuervo
If you don't hear from them, they're not interested. These days, most employers just stop calling rather than telling you that you're not under consideration. Believe me. If they want to move the hire process along, they will get back to you.

They may try to dodge you and string you along, but if they're serious about talking with you, you'll know. Most HR managers, though, are weasels.
I think they would email you or give u a ring

anyways i need some support guys regarding this post

If you have just applied for the job, but not granted an interview yet, I would call them after about a week. If you have been interviewed for a job, I would write them a thank-you note within 48 hours (this reinforces your name to them) and then I would follow-up with a phone call to ask if they have made a decision a couple of days afterwards. They will soon let you know their decision. Good luck
