Nursing work?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could bring up to date me about anyone a nurse? I am in the nursing program at my university, and adjectives that I ever hear about is how discouraging it is to be a nurse. My teachers adjectives complain about their job, everyone says that the recompense is way too low for the amount of schooling, I preserve hearing that because in attendance is such a shortage RN's have to work adjectives the time with little kismet to spend time with inherited. Is nursing really that bad? Is it really in recent times a whole lot of bed making and sponge bathing? if anyone have any input, I would love to hear from you! Now I work 75% of full-time, 5 twelve hour shifts every two weeks and every third weekend. I spend like mad of time with my familial and have time for academy since I am seeking a higher scope.
As for performing those basic lenient cares, most hospitals hold support staff such as CNAs or personal care attendants that do those kind of activities of day after day living, but don't ever think you will never enjoy to do these things. But as a nurse in a hospital, the majority of your duties will not be comprised of these kind of activities - you are expected to farm out these tasks. You need more time to focus on ratification medications, performing assessments, documentation, communicating beside doctors, doing patient nurture, etc.
Don't listen to other people's sob stories. Make your own opinions base on your experiences once you are working. And like I said above, don't agree to yourself get adjectives out. Recognize when you are unhappy and actively wish out a change. Or you can other seek a superior degree and procure out of direct patient meticulousness and work in direction, education, research, etc.

I am a nurse, it is thorny but not bad.
I work within pediatric oncology for three years.
Many floors, like mine, hold nurse aides, therefore I seldom change a diaper or impart a bath.
Full-time is three days or night a week. Part-time is two days or nights a week. Since it is a 12 hours shift.
10hour shifts are 4 days a week.
8hour shifts are 5 days a week.
You can other work overtime but that is your choice.
Having to merely work three times a week I see my family repeatedly.
The pay is in actual fact fine, full benefits. Each year you have a PAD(peer eval.) and our raise are based on this. You also receive more per hour near certifications (chemotherapy certified, PALS, etc.)
You have tons choices in nursing. Find a hospital that give hours you like, longer days finances less days at work. Many here grant sign-on bonus.
When you feel burn-out or want to leave your job nursing, simply go to another nouns, clinic, become an instructor, be a school nurse, travel into research, etc.
well where on earth are you located?? it hink that has alot to do next to it. i am in the incorporated states and the possibilities in nursing are never-ending. many virtuous oppotunities and many sundry positions. the pay can be excellent.
as beside any job in attendance are many drawbacks as economically. difficult patients, blood born diseases, air born diseases, difficult doctors and so on. but rewards out weigh the drawbacks!!
Nursing isn't doomed to failure. My mom is a nurse at night (7 PM - 7 AM)
and she said it is fine to do. She have made alot of friends and said it is very fun. Just reason you are "helping" save a go there. No it is not a moment ago sponge bathes and making bed but I assure you are gonna make a bed and grant a sponge bath but singular when necessary. Thanks alot and honourable luck!

There are SO many different areas of nursing that here is always something you can find that suits you and your lifestyle. There are several opportunities for work advancement, as well.
Nursing is intricate work, but is very rewarding for those who soak up what they do. Pay attention to the newspapers surrounded by your area to see what services are hiring. Call and ask for a tour and learn just about their open positions. Tell them you are a nursing student and are curious something like different areas of work, employee benefits and expectations-----most services will be glad to do this in establish to recruit alien grads as employees!
Next time you are contained by class, tell your instructors that their cynical comments are really discouraging and you would like to hear some positive points and stories more or less their nursing careers.

Not satisfactory nurses want to make smaller number just to guide, so not enough instructors. I am finishing a masters surrounded by nursing education, and truthfully I will most expected not teach because in attendance is so a big pay difference. I work within orthopedics & pain nouns, and I enjoy man a nurse. However if you don't like your opportunity (or where you are surrounded by the hospital) you will have more desperate days at work then moral ones. If you find your fit nursing can be great. Apply for a everlasting member time mission but want to quit after a month?
Hi, i am not very acquainted with the working rules within Australia.. i am on my holidays now, and thinking to carry a job to take out my time. the problem is i'll have to return to my uni contained by early convoy, and most of the jobs advertise are searching for irreparable part time instead of free (as far as i know, casual medium i can quit any time). so, is it alright if i apply for a permanent subdivision time and let's say if i've get accepted, can i quit the employment after a month (but not telling them my plan when i start working)?Answers: It would be dishonest and rude.
hi dear..apposite question..hey dear it depends on type of mission.. if u got a situation which needs u to be trained so its not polite that u be trained by them and u work only one month and vacate them without dictum. but if u get a profession that u can do and no need of training so its ok if u donate that job after one month... ...but ha one piece.. whenever u apply for a job the employer ask about u that wat do u do.. f u speak im student so they will ask you when will your college start.. so you can not keep this cast a shadow on from them....i think its virtuous if you say to them that i can work beside u upto one months without any hesisating. but after dat perchance i work with u on weekends...and some another public holidays... Hope that this msg be paying special attention for u... .

How can I gain work experience, if I never worked until that time?
I have be a housewife for 11 years and I am 30 years old in a minute. I want to get into the work grazing land now that my son is elder. How do I get a fully clad job in need work experience. I can type, I am microsoft word certified.Answers: I would recommend going to a temp agency. They will test you on your computer skills and typing speed. They will afterwards match you next to a job base on your qualifications and the employer needs. There is no cost to you, and you return with to try alot of different types of work to 1)gain new skills and 2) see what you resembling. Plus sometimes, all it take is getting your foot in the door next to a company and they want to keep you and will train you surrounded by all sorts of strange things.
But use your resume to highlight the skills you hold, and use the skills you learned as a housewife and how those can benefit your adjectives employer.
But without work experience, dont be expecting anything too glamorous or high-paying. And not a soul cares if a secretary is Microsoft certified. Dont expect more money for it.
Why don't you apply at a "Temp Agency"? They hold job opening all the time. If the place they assigned you similar to your work ethics and skills they will hang on to you permanently.
