Just how unprejudiced is the profession screening process?
In a recent news article it be shown that with The Fire Brigade, 4 out of 5 'embark on days' were restricted to women and ethnic minorities because the bosses looked-for to hit their diversity targets. Furthermore it further stated that two years ago, Avon & Somerset Police rejected 186 white applicants at the first stage of inspection! I have a training day at work once where on earth we where, as a group we where on earth given a task, the favour was to feat as employers, we where on earth given sheeyts of paper next to 12 candidates CV's, consequently another with what happen at the interview, ect. Each time we had to progress through to the subsequent stage and eliminate who we thought be weakest therefore showing us how the process worked. On the first stage, adjectives the girls in the group read out the first womans CV who be a middle aged woman who had be out of work for 12 years raising her kids, as soon as they read it respectively girl decided, past even reading ANY other CV at the FIRST stage that she was going to receive the job becaue they "close to the sound of her". Coincidently, a youthful girl who was a recent graduate be booted out again because they "didnt like the nouns of her"!! I protested, onloy to be put down by the course leader, who be also a woman who came out within support of the girls!
That my friend is I presume how the selection process works!
I love when folks complain about preferences for women and minorities within jobs that enjoy for decades excluded these people. But for the resourceful discrimination you wouldn't involve this "balancing of paperwork." That said, you should also realize that a process of this type is the exception and not the rule. If you don't cry when these people are passed over contained by favor of men or whites or whomever, don't cry now!
As someone who have been surrounded by the workforce for 20 years I've seen the first paw the type of rationalization people used to hire their friends, kids, ethnic preferences, etc.
If I find out an employer discriminates against a reliable group, I usually let that be specified to them and make them quality like an asshole right afterwards and there.

Being a teenager surrounded by the big city of newyork its very thorny for me to find work. im in want of a job. not mowng the meadow or babysitting newspaper or lemonade stands. an actual livelihood like a waiter or working within someplace. i was wondering what places would hire girls my age. my mom said i can single work on the weekends because it would mees up my school work i am a tenth grader who stays contained by brooklyn..any ideas please remember no lemonade stands or the Fourth Estate i do not want a summer job as i have need of one right now.Thnx =]
Answers: work at resturant similar to deli or something
McDonalds, Subway, KFC, or try places like Gap, or grocery stores. You don't right to be heard your age, but most states have lots of ends if you are under 16.

Answers: Do not answer any cross-examine with,
"Because I love children and want to oblige people."
That is the most innocent answer there is, so be convincing and mature within your answers. For example "There are not enough condition care workers within this country, by becoming a nurse I WILL help someone, disappearance is a part of life span no matter the circumstances, human anatomy and physiology enjoy always interested me and be subjects that I was markedly good surrounded by, etc , etc." Good luck and I hope it helps, and don't show that you are jumpy, relax as you can always try again. I be nervous for my med institution entrance interview, but I never showed it and I was methodical and honest and seasoned in my answers.
