Careers Employment Questions and Answers

Are here any other students out in that considering Dental Hygiene?

If so, why did you choose this career roadway? I am asking because I was thinking going on for making this choice, but everyone keeps relating me to not waste my time and dance for a real trade in nursing.

Just looking for your thoughts.

Answers: hi. my sister is within dental hygiene school right presently and she love love loves it. if you are interested in teeth and the total "mouth" thing close to she is then dental hygiene is clearly for you. and depending on where you work (what state) you can be paid upwards of $50,000 a year starting out. but if you are interested in nursing consequently absolutely persue that. frankly if i have to chose i would go for teeth. i work at a hospital and work near nurses and they have to verbs up crap and vomit and deal next to really really sick people who are dying and it can be emotionally draining. especially when some of those folks don't really care adequate about their own robustness to keep themselves thriving. that isn't worth any amount of money to me.

nurses make righteous money but so do dental hygenists. and also with nursing you will own longer hours and almost always enjoy to work some nights and weekends.

StaffingNow is a staffing agency - when you are hired, you will be working for them, and they will send you past its sell-by date to a company that is requiring a clerical/administrative worker. Ive be told they do some PC based conducting tests too. However, I have no impression what the interview will be like. Will it be too testing/hard? Should I prepare for behavioural question? Or questions directly related to clerical duties, such as 'types of filing', 'types of letters/memos'?
