If your parents are supporting you through college, then they should realize that this is a full time charge - studying. However, I am a big believer in earn your own keep to some amount, to learn the efficacy of the education (or vehicle, clothes, whatever). Where does your general spending money come from? Perhaps you could gain a very recreational job to retribution for your own travel expenses to see your boyfriend?
Also, it's great that your brother has a chore to pay for his games. It teach him that money is not disposable and if he wants luxuries surrounded by life, he requests to earn them.
Are your parents supporting you? If so, maybe they are trying to make clear to you that they don't feel close to they should have to do that anymore. Right or wrong, you shouldn't force them to pay cheque even limited expenses if it's a burden on them.
