Careers Employment Questions and Answers

Career or livelihood?

What is the difference between and career, and a living?

Answers: A career sounds more long occupancy, whereas a job is more approaching something that you just take to pay a few bills while you move about to college to get a profession.
Pretty simple really. A job is something you do beside no idea of what your adjectives holds. You have no plan other that of late making money week to week. A career equally is something that you plan out. I am going to start as a busboy in the food industry. Then I will work my process up to waiter. Next I will become the manager of a food establishment. Finally I will own my own food establishment. Thats a planned out art.

What do you think about mobbing in companies...what should an employer do in such a case?

Answers: Mobbing?

Can you give us more info, please?!
If employees are involved and on company property the it is gross misconduct and the company would be required to dismiss thos concerned - providing that after an investigation the said individuals were shown to be involved and not victims.

if off site and people knew they were from your company (i.e. wearing uniform) then gross misconduct is also implied as this is bringing the company into disrepute.

either way - lose the staff
I don't understand your question. Please clarify.

I want to become a waiter because i hear they make good money, but i dont know how to gain the experience?

Answers: Get a job at a small trendy cafe. You will learn alot also i got the best job tips hanging out at open mic night at a bar.Thats how I got a easy job with no exspereince.Oh it was easy the first 2 weeks and by the time tourist season really hit I knew what to do.That was rough but it was lots of fun good tips.My advice is find a Concert venue type bar with live music and food. They are just fun.
high school or college newspaper would be a place to start..
to gain writing experience..
and then work your way towards a FOOD Magazine or any other type of newspaper or magazine internship..

save your published articles in a portfolio so you have something to show for yourself and others..who may become future employers. Good Luck. :)
Don't be afraid to work as a dishwasher or bussing tables. It's still making money, and if you prove yourself to be a good worker than you might get promoted to a server if something isn't available right off
