Do you reflect on I should own quit?
I got this profession back within mid Dec. worked there for in the order of 6 weeks. I was a resturant hostess at Rubys diner. The brief wasnt so bad a short time ago the managment. I worked long hours a day around 9 and wasnt told I could step on break which is illegal. The manager I worked with be so mean to me. Youre supposed to go and get an employ discount which is 50% past its sell-by date. My shift was over after working 9 long boring hours and I considered necessary something to eat, and he refuse to give me and discount because I have already clocked out. He did this to me a few times but he gives the waitress's free meal all the time. Also I have to constantly stand at the front desk for9 hours every day beside nothing to do Ocasionally I would shift to the front of the house and talk to the servers and they would shout at me to get pay for to the front desk. Another host who hasnt been working here as long as I own gets to be a server earlier me. I know this was long and I apologize I would only like to go and get some opinions if I should regret quiting or notAnswers: Coming from a strong and long-drawn-out stretch of time working in the restaurant pen, I have to voice, firstly, that your experience is very commonplace. You feel like you weren't person treated fairly. There are seriously of people who consistency that way, and like mad of them subsequently quit as a result.
It sounds to me that perhaps at hand were some other issues on the radar that you departed out. I guess my only suggestion is to stand up for yourself and collaborate to the person that should serve you (manager or general manager). People respect when you follow the secure of command when having a grievance.

Are you reffering to Ruby's Tuesday? Because you can grasp a lawsuit before you quit and find another work. Other than that, I would recommend finding a job back you quit. There's a lot of inequalities out in that, but if you need the money to reimburse the bills, then you only just gotta play the hand you're deal with.

Is $40,000 profusely for a groundwork pay right out of college?
I happen to hold a marketing degree, and it seem base pay right out of school is within the low $40,000 range- is this a lot of money?Answers: $40k is great for a entry stratum marketing job. I'm assuming you hold a bachelors degree, and not an MBA?

-I have tried monster.com and those site-they enjoy provided me with scam job (work at home and make a thousand dollars) or job that are way above my experience horizontal. I have have moderate success near Craigslist and Facebook...but not much better luck.-People have told me to procure a job recruiter. How do I turn about this?? Who do I contact? Is it free? What do they do? etc.

Answers: I completely understand what you're going through. I be in your same position almost a year ago. Luckily I found a well-paying living to help settle up all my debts. Besides my living, I also work online. It's great because I get to do it sector time whenever I can, and it puts extra income in my pocket. If you enjoy a computer and enjoy background entry and being artistic, agree to me know and I'll help you out. Remember, the more hard work you put into it, along with puntuality, you'll be paid the money that's worth the time you put into it.
1. Many people are contained by the same boat as you when fresh out of university. If you haven't taken advantage of on-campus interviewing, you may still enjoy the opportunity to do so as an alumni. Contact your outplacement coordinator on campus.
2. Reach out to several recruiters. Ask about the predominant industries and employer they work with... do NOT recompense a firm a fee to find you a profession. The good ones gain their income from finding candidates (usually several for respectively avilable position) suitable to fill the position.
3. Your best opportunity is to exchange cards with your available contacts, friends and family circle - as to who might be interested in your skills.
