Is this a desperate impression or a pious first time errand?

Hi, I'm 16 and am looking for a first time job.

I found one at Taco Bell and be interviewed on the spot for the position. I told my mom & dad about it and they give the impression of being to have no qualms something like letting me. Except I don't think they work out what it means:

I would be taking the public bus to AND from work (going home at going on for 8:00 PM)

I would be working after school.
I would be working weekends.

I regard my mom & dad dont understand what this money as far as a job go. It's 2 miles away from home & in a a bit unclean sector of town.

Question:
Would working at Taco Bell be a good concept, given the circumstances, or should I look elsewhere?
How should I let my parents know roughly whats really going to be happening?

Answers: You nouns surprised that your parents said ok to your job. I don't deduce why they wouldn't understand that you'd be working after institution and on weekends. Two miles isn't that far to go to for a undertaking, and you're lucky to have bus service. It sounds to me that I don`t know you're the one having second thoughts in the order of it. I applaud your parents for giving you the credit for finding a job on your own and letting you find into the work force at 16. It sounds like they expect you're responsible enough to take a job and preserve one. Because they didn't try to stop you means that they reflect you can handle the extra responsibility. I do too!

My suggestion is that you work at Taco Bell, at tiniest until summer. Show that you aren't a quitter and that you can handle academy, social life, and a duty. Then, see if there's other jobs out here that you might like better. You'll enjoy the experience and will have a better fortune of getting hired.

In these economic times, you're fortunate to hold been offered a living. Especially without experience. My first work had me working as a waitress from 11 pm until 7 am . that's adjectives I could find -- and I had be looking full time for about 2 weeks straight. Talk just about a bummer! But I needed the money.

And, you'll be proud to take home that paycheck. It's the first step towards maturity. I wouldn't worry more or less being surrounded by an unclean module of town. Your manager know the area, and he/she wouldn't permit anything happen. You'll come upon other people at work, possibly even take like bus home.

Good luck! If all go well at this undertaking, you could even work your way up to store manager/sales rep or more!
8 pm is not slowly . 3 miles is not far. You can do this. H aving a buddy would probably help, and only just taking normal safekeeping steps. You sound uneasy, if it really scares you, I don`t know get a ride home.

My major is nursing and i just started my anatomy and physiology class does anyone have any advice on passing?

Answers: You must study EVERY day, even Sundays, unless you have a photographic memory!
Read ahead. Try to answer questions you have on your own, then verify the answers with the instructor. Try NOT to take notes during the class--go IN with notes and only write down NEW info or great tips. It helps to really LISTEN instead of being a dictation taker as some are.
Look for ways to memorize things--mnemonic devices are good. Wikipedia gave this for the cranial nerves:
"As the list is important to keep in mind during the examination of the nervous system, there are many mnemonic devices in circulation to help remember the names and order of the cranial nerves. Because the mind recalls rhymes well, the best mnemonics often use rhyming schemes. The best known example is, "On Old Olympus' Towering Tops A Finn And German Viewed Some Hops,"[4] where And represents auditory vestibular and Some represents spinal accessory. There are numerous mnemonics that refer to something sexual, probably because the risqué is more memorable.

Another to help remember the types of information these nerves carry (sensory, motor, or both) is thus:

Some Say Money Matters, But My Brother Says Big Brains Matter More. "

Good luck!
Repetition in studying is the only thing. Utilize the open lab time if you can, and don't be afraid to ask questions about things you don't understand. It's the instructors job to teach you, so use them!

I bought one of those anatomy coloring books. I found it helpful, others might not.
If your book came with a website that goes with it UTILIZE it. I found that helped greatly with retaining the information. The coloring books are ok, but not a huge help. Find a study partner, or at least someone who can quiz you.
I think I still have a password for the website that went with my book. If you don't have access to one let me know and I will give you the info.
