Careers Employment Questions and Answers

I have need of a Job.?

i'm only 14 tho. how can i acquire one..
Any help.

Answers: do you without doubt need one?
If not, consequently don't look for one, you have the rest of your go to work.

Do you know any relatives that work?
Ask them to put in a honourable word for you.

There isn't many places that will hire you.
Try Mc Donalds, though. They hire at 14 here, or so I've hear.

Are veterinarians syndicated?

Answers: Yes. In the US, we have an American Veterinary Medical Association:

There are probably local chapters of AVMA, as well as local county vet associations (or at least state vet associations) within each of the 50 states.
Are you inquiring if they have mob connections? While there may be a very minimal few that are, I highlty doubt it. Or do you mean if they have their own network, chapter or organization? That they do.

How copious hours does an employer own to impart a worker between shifts?

Here's the story. My husband (exempt/salaried) will have worked 2 am to 2 pm 6 days this week (M-S). He have to go within Sunday and work 6 am to 6 pm, then start the 2 am to 2 pm again Monday. Getting bad at 6 on Sunday, then driving home, showering, intake dinner, going to bed, getting up, getting ready, driving support for 2 am, he sure won't get a full night's sleep. I can't find the law that deal near this - California. He works at a factory - international corp. Thanks!

Answers: He is salaried. He is not paid hourly and his hourly actions are not controlled by the government.

There is no imperative to force them to do anything. It is up to your husband to manage his opening or tell them to hire an extra person.
I can't come across to find anything referring to hours between shifts specifically, but I assume he is being compensated for overtime? That is mandatory.

But it also say that an employer may require overtime, and I guess that is considered a condition of employment.

Does this oblige?
