Careers within Psychology-salary quesions?
I'm torn between three majors that I love equally: Psychology, Sign Language, and Peace Studies. Of Sign and Psychology, I'm not sure which to choose as a career: Sign interpretation or Psychology, outstandingly marriage counseling or dream therapy. Because I love them both equally, I looked up salaries. For wedding counseling, a website told me average salary is give or take a few $32,000 ( in 2001).Is this a devout yearly foot for living in Southern California?
Answers: no it isn't a completely good annual pay, start taking of tax rent payroll deduction etc and it is sustenance living only. Especially within California things aren't cheap...
Marriage counseling can be lucrative if you can build up a client base and attain good referral you can charge a good hourly rate but it take a while to get established...
I'm a psychology main pursuing a masters degree. However, I plan going for the doctor of psychology. If you expect to construct a decent living surrounded by psychology, you need to achieve a doctoral degree. Then again, those that choose psychology as their corral of choice do so because it is a calling to serve God.
Two questions you should answer yourself are:
1. What personal gain or accomplishments would be found that would impact you personally?
2. How working within the field of psychology would impact the Kingdom of God?

It looks to me like you answer your own give somebody the third degree when you say your dream be to join the army and work within intelligence and / or with computers. Check near an army recruiter-- maybe near parental permission you can mix even at age 16.
