Medical transcript, or paralegal? cant decide on one. any suggestions?
Answers: I'm pretty sure paralegals make a lot more money. Both jobs are in high-demand though. It all depends on whether you're more interested in medicine or law, I suppose.
Paralegal hands down. It is a more challenging and rewarding career.
Question aimed at sucessful Headhunters/Recruiters?
Im an experienced Recruitment Consultant. I'm considering a career within Headhunting but i need some encouraging tips on how to Headhunt. Thank you in mortgage for your help.Answers: I'm a Headhunter. Generally, I achieve names from using network sites like LinkedIn or Xing, and consequently just appointment the people up at their work and communicate to them! Using CV databases like Monster and so on doesn't work contained by my opinion, because you don't find senior ample candidates. If you can't find name that way, later you just nickname into the company and pretend to be someone you're not to get the designation. At my company, we have our numbers blocked when we christen out and we get skilled that we just hang down up the phone immediately if someone catch us out. You can improve your probability by certain procedure, like calling after hours when the switchboard will any be manned by a tool or a security guard, not a receptionist who is clued-up on how to do business with headhunters.
You would probably find that pitching the job to candidates is somewhat harder as a Headhunter than as a Recruitment Consultant, because you own to remember that these people are not actively looking for work and might be moderately happy surrounded by their present position, so you might have to put on the market the job rather hard, or they may not even want to tell to you in the first place. I've never be a Recruitment Consultant, but this is what I've heard.
I'm not sure why you're considering making the correction, but I would definitely look into salary before you do - as far as I know, Recruitment Consultants might own a lower base, but they go and get much better commission, so if you're good at it you'd manifestly get more money doing that. That said, I don't cogitate we work as hard - I know Recruitment Consultants own much, much shorter deadlines to present shortlists and so on.
With todays employment and profession websites with resume's at a folks fingertips, finding candidates to riddle specialty type jobs is as flowing as typing in the parameter you are seeking and hitting the search button. Many inhabitants make thier resume's searchable so headhunters and recruiters can find them. The trick is to find the companies that want you to do the leg work for them. Conducting the referencing and interviews (initial) and providing them with apposite and exceptional candidates for the livelihood vacancies. Getting and building a good reputation is imperative to success as a headhunter. Locating the populace is a fairly simple process. Aside from the trellis services, there are other the old standby methods such as trade journal, newspaper classified ad and of course, advertisement for your services. Its pretty labor intersive sorting through the number of resumes that may fit the bill and even more intensive making calls, sending emails and playing strip with the those.
