Careers Employment Questions and Answers

When applying through craigslist, is home address necessary in the resume?

Answers: As an employer, a home address wouldn't be important to me. However, you should do two things...

(1) Provide adequate contact information (email, phone)

(2) Show that you're local (if you are), by listing the location of your current job and/or mentioning it in your email or cover letter.

Best of luck to you!

I am looking for allowed represention?

But don't know what type of lawyer I call for to help me near a case that I would close to to open against a freight company. It could be a travel case based any on discrimination or on stalking. or even mabey both. Help

Answers: Call a general practitioner - they'll do any.
first you must report the harassment to your employer
if the company does not business deal with the issue you contact the EEOC to report nouns. at this point you do not need a legal representative nothing they can do for you at this time.

contact the EEOC through their website:

http://www.eeoc.gov/

you will go and get information at their site and can start the process of filing your complaint.
Your interview is too vague to grant a specific answer
("discrimination" and "harassment" can mean virtually anything
in need a specific context).

Use your local phone book to find attorney's offices,
avoiding the ones dealing surrounded by cases having nil to do with you
(e.g., immigration; chance; medicare; etc),
BRIEFLY (in about 10 seconds) describe your crust,
and then ask if they feel it.

How did you attain your NGO career?

I have be interested for quite a long while within pursuing a job next to an NGO. I have overseas principle experience, hence I have experience working next to other cultures which I am very fond of.

With this experience, I would close to to pursue a job inside an NGO that focuses on some form of Community Service or Education (sorry for being woolly if I am).

I would consider working in South America, Asia, or Northern California.

Due to financial obligation, I would prefer a salaried job.

I would appreciate it if you can recommend me if this is a feasible choice and also how you landed your opportunity. Also, suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Answers: An NGO job I'd kept for almost 4 years until I just now migrated to a new company. Bear contained by mind that there are lotsa ups n downs you gotta tolerate with when working near an NGO. Talk bout welfare/HR issues and all. I get my way surrounded by thru a project basis and somehow get to be a permanent staff near. A word of advice, if you really wana work beneath an NGO, make sure it's an NGO next to a core business that really defines you; in consequence you'd make a great staff. cheers
