I had 3 jobs. got 2 w-2. 3rd job was for like 1 week. mini wage. can i file without it?
Answers: no
If you get a W-2 from an employer, you better claim that income on your filing. Your employer will report it for sure and you could owe a penalty.
You can file without it if you have a pay statement with the income and tax amounts listed.
Well, you CAN file without it... but your not supposed to.
I wouldn't worry about it If I were you. The IRS is not going to come after you for a weeks' worth of min wage income.
Plus, chances are that if your other two jobs were low wage jobs, that you aren't even cheating Uncle Sam... you are actually cheating your self out of 5 bucks worth of refund.
Again, I wouldn't sweat it... but if you want you can call the company and complain. By law they need to get you your W2 by Jan 31st.
H+R 'S ==no file no get back that all ,, you get 2 back
Should I moderately my position??
I’ve been at my current govt. employment for about 4 months presently but total I've been next to the government for just about 3 years. I work with a great deal of different people which process a lot of different types of personality some of which are worst then others which can spawn my job somewhat difficult. To make a long story short - It’s a couple of senior human resources I work with who are of late unbearably difficult to treaty with and it make me hate coming to work everyday! I’m not really surrounded by a position to complain because where I work its adjectives about station and it’s their word against mine. Should I find a new position or should I try to hang contained by there rather bit longer seeing as though I've only worked here for a short period. I’m thinking of going away the government and going to a commercial agency. I’ve also hear the economy isn’t doing to powerfully and it’s not a good time for living seekers.Any Advice?
Answers: Stay put and suck it up. No telling if another livelihood will have family who annoy you more, job open market is tight, do you have $$$ within savings to tide you over? Make sure you preserve copies of all correspondence, repeat your conversations contained by follow up emails, keep copies... near is no place you are going to go where on earth senior employees don't find at least rather more credit than newbies...
this is one you'd want to look VERY hard at earlier quitting. first of all, if you are working beside the government, you enjoy a fantastic amount of security and benefits, retirement, etc You would clearly lose both of these by going to work commercially. You may very in good health be putting yourself in a position where on earth someone could just come any afternoon, tell you at hand is a downsizing, or whatever object, and let you run. with the system, at least within are preferred lists and re-employment rosters etc, which would pretty much provide you next to future employment. quitting this posistion would just hurt YOU. Trust me when i tell you that nobody but yourself care if you quit...the agency will continue to thrive short you, and someone else will move to your position immediately. NEVER formulate a decision when you are angry or upset. If you work for the policy (you dont say if it's federal, state, county or city or whatever) you DO hold options to verbs to other positions with duplicate agency or even a differrent agency. Take advantage of doesn`t matter what opportunities in that might be..check out job postings or doesn`t matter what. Remember that you CANNOT collect Unemployment insurance if you can't prove you had polite cause to quit the undertaking, and also remember that a person sould NEVER quit a commission without havingt another position to shift to immediately. you wouldn't want to quit, later start looking for another job. Good job are darned hard to find. Your present position is presently secure, and provides you near a living. stay with it, and verbs out as soon as you can. think twice almost going to work in private industry. benefits simply cant compare, and neither can the security. Hang surrounded by there
