Foriegn Nurses?

Do you believe the nurses trained in other countries are trained similar to the schools train nurses within the U.S.?

Do you think we could expand our nursing school, and create more nursing schools to supply nurses and bear people surrounded by the U.S. off dismissal?

I have experienced problems near many Filipino nurses within communication problems and shift to shift reports. Most of them also seem interested within getting to the U.S. to find a husband, even if the guy they find is already married.

I personally believe that nursing have taken a downhill course since we started importing our nurses. Maybe we should concider requiring the foriegn nurses to spend a year within a transition school within the U.S. before they start working. The foriegn nurses that enjoy gone through their nursing schools surrounded by the U.S. don't have the problem that foriegn trained nurses own.

Answers: We have a long-standing nursing shortage, as do most countries within the world, and really no one is doing squat in the region of it. We have NO shortage of exceedingly well qualified students. The hold up is near the nursing programs. In too many cases they will single do 7-3 classes and clinicals which is foolish. We need some more 3-11 classes and clinicals and more courses over the summer as powerfully. If we'd stop wasting money on pointless courses (women's studies and the like) and we told faculty: guess what, not everyone gets an 8-5 available job in time, we'd see a serious decrease surrounded by the nursing shortage in roughly speaking 4 years.
We certainly could create more nursing school as well, but we should better utilize the existing ones.
I feel I heard an AMEN from some of the tens of thousands of ably qualified students who have to hang about a couple of years to GET IN to a program.

When you apply for a charge how long do employer usually pilfer to give the name you for an interview?

Answers: I believe it really depends on the type of career, market sector, how like lightning they want to fill the position, the side of the road required in the company to hire, and the turn over of the company. I hold been call for job interviews months after putting contained by an application -- other times days. Retail tends to own rapid turn around while professional positions tend to hold longer.
Well, I have be called as long as a month subsequent. My friend interviewed at a company and they called 3 months following and offered her the job. It depends on what is going on at the company you applied at. Sorry couldn't be more helpfull.
