I'm considering entering into the medical pen...experienced opinion would be appreciated.?
Hello! I'm currently a 10th grade all-Honors-and-AP student and, until only just, I had no opinion what I wanted to do beside my life. Someone suggested that I should consider a job in prescription, and the idea purely...stuck. I'm an excellent science student and I've so far managed to leave behind AP Chemistry, which is rumored to be the most intense class offered at my school. (that and I'm mad with Discovery Health Channel. :) ) Despite this, however, I am by no system the best student ever. I work hard for my grades, and I'm still not entirely sure if self a doctor would be right for me. I wanted to hold a job that I would be capable of be around people. I required to be a journalist, writing give or take a few people's lives. Now I'm leaning towards a doctor - someone who change them.I just considered necessary to ask any experienced doctors out there if they thought that adjectives that school and adjectives that work was worth it. I don't want to dissipate 8 years of my life training for a duty unless I KNOW it's what I want to do.
Answers: You have a long time to settle on what you want to do with the rest of your vivacity. Going to med school is a huge commitment financially and time prudent. First you get a bachelor scope in science consequently hopefully are accepted to med conservatory where you'll spend the subsequent 4 years working your butt off. Then you procure to work as a resident for another 4 years (paid). After that you can have your own practice as a doctor unless you want to specialize within an area such as pediatrics, obgyn or accomplish surgery. These area can rob from 2 to 6 more years of residency/fellowship.
I recommend you contact a hospital or talk to your college counselor and see if you can job shadow a doctor, nurse, physical psychoanalyst, occupational consultant, pharmacist, rad tech, and respiratory therapist back making up your mind. Meanwhile start college taking the prerequisite courses that all those medical field require like: English, math, biology, chemistry, anatomy & physiology, etc. Those field all enjoy very different earnings ranges and time spent in conservatory ranges.

i have a BA within Business, and I am struggling to find a job.Answers: I also own a BA in business beside a double major within HR and General Management. It took me a year to find a job. I currently work for a company as the HR Generalist, beside no one contained by HR above me and no one below me. I do everything!! It is alot of work, but I resembling not having a boss. I made 60,000 final year.
I graduated beside a BS in Business. I worked for State Street Corp within Boston. I went through their collateral operations training program and done up in the Recon department working next to mutual funds. That job lead to a job at another firm closer to home working next to retirement plans. That job lead to an investments position, which led to private bank.
It is tough out there but don't make available up. Keep trying. Just know that you aren't alone. Maybe expand your options. (what you are looking for.) What experience are you looking into getting? Any volunteer opportunity around that will help procure the experience you may need?
Hang within there. I hold a BA in Psych from Arizona State (Go Devils!) and starting at the Boys & Girls Club as an Education Director, really no money in it! I later found an opportunity to get into a Fortune 500 company a year next as a Staffing Coordinator and a year later I become a corp recruiter and now am a Sr Recruiter for another company. It will work out a short time ago keep pounding the pavement.
As a recruiter I mind that some college grads come out of school beside the exectation of making millions and ruling the world. Just get surrounded by somewhere get some needed expereince and introduce yourself, network, gridiron, whenever you can.
Whats a cool duty to hold working surrounded by tha big city?
I luv city life. I presume of nite life esp when i reason of the city. Im a hair dresser in a minute. Wouldn't Starbucks be fun? Or workin in a pizza parlor contained by NYC? Or working as a ceo on the 70th floor?Answers: scores.

I work within NYC on the 22nd floor, pretty cool. As long you make money and don't completely dislike intensely what you do.
