No. There is a 2 week waiting period, so if you anticipate being unemployed later this year you could (possibly) burn up those 2 weeks. However, because the leave was your choice, you probably won't be given credit.

You should also check into getting a PHR (Professional in HR) certification.look on SHRM.org for more info. Many employers look for this certification. You could start out in HR with any type of company, in a generalist role or recruiting. There are tons of recruiting jobs out there, and that may be the best way to get your foot in the door. My husband's boss told him that if he doesn't acheive certain goal by next month he will be fired. After he said that, the commentary sent an email saying my husband be not at fault, and the numbers come up wrong because of accounting errors. His boss still stands by what he said. Now my husband feels approaching he needs to start looking for a clean job, because he almost get fired for someone elses mistake, but if he posts his resume online and his boss sees it, he'll fire him for sure. Sign up with a reputable employment agency in your town. They will try and do the complex work of job probing in their client document and hopefully come up with something.

No your husband needs to progress above his bosses head to that guys boss and show the findings from the mistake, So basicly his boss will procure a kick to the backside he deserves for making your husband feel unpromising for the mistake.
