I've just finished Uni and want to move to London as it's where on earth most of my friends have gone. I know living here is more expensive that any other city in England, but by how much more? Bearing surrounded by mind I'll likely be living alone (albeit modestly), what should I set as my minimum gross, purely to cover living costs?Thanks!

Money-wise it doesn't pay that great (unless you become a full-on Veterinarian) but it's one of those jobs that people don't usually do for the money. They do it because they love animals. I guess it comes down to which is more important to you!
