Do you needed to type in your resume and distribute the cover letter?Answers: It adjectives depends on what the website requires. If you are applying on CareerBuilder or Monster, then yeah, you create or upload a resume that will be sent out to job that you apply for.
It depends on the site. Some of them allow you to upload a resume or use a copy and paste function. So if you own a resume in a word document you won't hold to type it freehand.
Working at UPS?
I have fairly a few question nearly working at UPS, so this might be long. The position that I wanting to apply for is package handler surrounded by Louisville, KY.How is the medical insurance? Is it really free? I had a friend convey me that, but she dosen't work at UPS.

What insurance company do they use, just wondering?
I want to run to college while working there. What happends if I where on earth to get fired or rather? Do you have to work in that for a certain amount of time after you graduate even if you want to start your work with a different company?
How lots hr do you work a week during peak (Christmas) time?

Answers: Hope these are the anwsers you are looking for.
1. Medical insurance is great its an 80/20 plan through Aetna.
For major medical (surgeries, births, etc...) these use Blue Cross/Blue Shield. And you get hold of a prescription card through Medco, they are covered 100%! Yeah I have 3 form cards in my wallet right immediately. And you don't pay a cent for them. You also bring dental and vision coverage.
2. If you are hired surrounded by before the hot contract kicks surrounded by on August 1, 2008, your benefits start after 30 days or 90...can't remember for sure. Its not long. However they changed it for the new contract starting Aug. 1. If you procure hired after that date you have to loaf 1 year for your benefits and 18 months to add dependants (children, etc..).
3. You can attend university and have UPS settle up to a 3 or 4 grand a year. Its call the "Earn and Learn" tuition reimburshment program, ask about it! If you find that you want to quit and start a craft in the pen you attended school for, newly put in your 2 week perceive. No big deal.
4. During most of the yaer you will catch around 20-25 hours a week as a part-time carton handler. During peak you will receive 25-30, as you will have a before start time that time of year. "peak" is considered the time Between Thanksgiving and X-mas. It really is the busiest the 2 weeks right before X-mas.

Package Handler is a concrete job. Lots of robust lifting. You will work at night mostly. PT I expect. and then when other job come available I think you bring first chance at them earlier outsiders. I here Insurance is great. Just stop a UPS person when you see one deliver and ask. They are really nice people.
I'm a TERRIBLE waitress!?
Okay so yesterday was my first evening as a waitres..and i'm crap.1st mistake i made..wearing lofty heels...big no no.
And then similar to the whole darkness after that was a big mistake! Seriously i'm crap..theres solitary 11 tables but I can't remember which ones which and i kept taking the food to the wrong ethnic group and i dunno when i'm supposed to go over and clear their derelict glasses or anything!!
Is this how everyone starts out waitressing? Or am i lately really crap?
Answers: #1) obviously don't wear heels!
#2) know your table numbers(if they aren't numbered come up next to your own # system).
#3) when you greet a table the 1st thing you do is write down the table #.
#4) continue at least 30 second before greeting, introduce yourself, consequently ask "can i get you something to drink while you look over the menu, or would you approaching a few minutes to think?"
#5) acquire the drinks on the table in 2-3 mins
#6) Ask "is near an appetiser you would like to start next to?" then ask "are you all set to order or would you approaching a few minutes?"
#7) take their direct, repeat the order spinal column to them
#8) while they are waiting for their food check on them, and refill drinks
#9) bring their food, read aloud what the item is when you place it in front of them, ask "is within anything i can get for you?"
#10) 2 minute check vertebrae, after bringing them their food wait 2 mins later check back, right to be heard " is everything wonderful?" don't say "is everything OK."
#11) check on them throughout the suppertime w/o speaking, this is a silent check. you won't be disturbing them but if they need you they will see you are near for them and they will let you know if they stipulation you.
#12) when they look done ask "can i take this out of the mode for you?" ALWAYS ask, otherwise they will feel rushed or worse they weren't finished all the same!
#13) suggest coffee/dessert, have their check on mitt and ready to appendage over if they say "no dessert"
#14) administer them the check, tell them "i'll thieve this for you when you're ready."
#15) save an eye on them w/o hoovering, you don't want them to feel rushed or forgotten. they will probably stipulation change, be available, don't "hold them hostage" by not anyone there when they obligation you.
#16) pick up their check when they are ready, utter "i'll be right back wih your vary." this gives them the oppurtunity to say aloud "i don't need change" DON'T speak "do you need changeover?" it's rude.
#17) give them their conversion, tell them "thank you, own a great day/night/weekend."
*These are the basic steps of service, once you enjoy this down you can move on to suggestive selling and upselling.

You are not crap. Waitressing is tough and requires multi-tasking skills. Wear comfortable shoes, smile abundantly, apologize when the order go wrong. Remove dirty dishes as they become available on the table and replace if necessary.
My first waitressing duty I cried and thought I was not doing very well either. Then I get better and made huge tips so hang within there. People are across the world forgiving as you learn the ropes.
I'm not a waitress but basically wanted to provide you a pat on the back for trying. It's get to be one of the most difficult, unappreciated jobs out nearby and I don't know how you gals/guys learn adjectives that stuff that is required.
My biggest pet peeve beside waitresses/waiters is - I drink a lot of tea and my cup sits almost empty much of the time. So monitor those glassses ...
Just keep trying - you know presently not to wear high heels - the rest will crash down in place. Good luck!
