Question in connection with pot smooking team within a no-drug store?
I had the guys pinch out the trash. I got busy next to customers and there be stuff coming out of the oven. So I yelled for them. They come back surrounded by, reeking of smoke, and I'm pretty sure it was pot smoke. When I asked them, they denied it, but I'm 90% sure it be pot. I need to narrate my manager, but I'm kinda worried she'll blame me for not watching them while they took out the trash. Another tricky spot. One is her best friends brother and the other is her neices boyfriend. I really need guidance on how to put this to her. A. You are not 100% sure.
B. They will deny it and you can't prove it.
C. A drug store? Marijuana is it a healthier for you than the s_ _ t they put up for sale at LEGAL drug stores.
Smelling it and proving it are 2 different things...
They can and will deny it and then where on earth does that leave you? It could backfire on you if your inspector is friends with them.
I meditate you should just utter nothing and verbs to do your job.
Think almost this before you counter and if you are still
determined to "tell" then a moment ago tell your regulator the truth... "you might want to drug test these guys basis after they took the trash out they smelled like pot!"
Your work is to report the situation!
If you do not feel compfortable reporting to your direct manager I would move about to your managers boss!
Forget more or less every one who says its just pot! Pot is an illegal drug and its not wrong to submit the law! You enjoy a job to do so I would not brush it underneath the rug! If these guys cared almost their job they would never bring their personal time to work!

you have various issues
1. trash taken out should be supervised for theft prevention and safekeeping issues(most robberies in food service come up when robbers walk contained by back door while trash is one taken out).
2. health issues smoking anything and next not washing ones hand before returning to work is a vigour code violation.
3. poor planning allowed to much assist out the backdoor and did not account for the "what-if's" that other happen surrounded by a restaurant.
you obviously read between the lines that you made an error here, with that said you don't want to bring up the "pot" issue at this time. you don't know what they were smoking.
you must address your operation first, adhere to policies and follow-up next to the employees. they must know what happen was wrong and that they will be held adjectives in the adjectives just as you are held adjectives.
once you do your job and set the standard after if you have problems shift to the manager. if you are doing everything you are suppose to these things can be prevented and if they surface and you are in the "right' the commissioner will support you.

no clinic is needed for drug screening. they make and put on the market drug screens(urine test) that require no medical expertise and are very inexpensive.

these screen are excellent for pre-employment screening and for testing if ever a work related injury as okay as random screening of workforce.
These test are done by various employers, and they aren't bought at drug stores.
redi-test is of late one brand there are various available.
we do 20 -30 test a week at the nursing home i volunteer at. every applicant is tested in the past we even start checking refrences. we also do 1 random trial a day special from all personnel including administrative, housekeeping, nursing and dietary.
she's not a narc, I live with her and i'm a pothead. And yeah that's waht the restaurant industry is just about, we all smoke. But the point is, her undertaking does have drug carrying out tests and no you can't buy a test tackle from the drug store, that's fine for parents but a company has to assessment people within a clinic otherwise they would never be able to perform on the results. Nobody really cares if relatives are smoking pot. I work with ancestors who are outstanding workers that have the concentration of airplane controllers when they're elevated. the point is she is management and their pot smoking is cause problems. if they were big when they got near and did their job it would be one entity but leaving the available job to go out and smoke while disappearing food to burn is unacceptable. and next coming up to the front in contact beside customers reaking of pot isn't cool. so to clarify, what does one do in this defence. yeah she could tell the officer they went to run out the trash and food was burning which will solve zilch or does she tell her that these population just agree on to say screw the undertaking and have a pow-wow surrounded by the middle of the dinner rush. it is more their timing and lack of consideration of others and removal of consideration toward their job that's a problem.

A good court reporter takes down transcripts during trials, of course, but they also work independently, at depositions and similar situations. (That's where the real money is.)
To make yourself valuable, you should learn more than one recording technique. There are "voice" recorders, where you take spoken notes, there are video machines, and there are still some traditional note taking. So you need to get trained, but you don't need years of it. And you can earn a very good living that way. Good luck!!
building trades......they have apprenticeship programs with school attached to them..but you are paid more every year till you make full book....

my husband had this work "in the bag" he have already been told he be hired and was really geared up just about it b/c the pay be so good and within was benefits. it be working at a local amunitions plants and it was maintain the computers that make the adjustment on the assembly line.he be easily over-qualified for the opening, they even told him that but were excited to hire him. consequently he went surrounded by for the physical and was told he be color-blind. at first they told him that was no problem, but after he give his two weeks at his other job and be only a week away from his start date, they call and said he couldnt have the position b/c of his colorblindness! he's been working near colored wires and things for years without any problem, but they told him no.
so he have to beg for his antiquated job subsidise.
isnt that wrong? any other disablement would have to enjoy been accomodated.
Answers: I don't estimate that they should have told him that he be basically already hired, and I'm sure that his colorblindness could hold been handle or accomodated. That's not right.
that is hella messed up and you guys should get hold of a lawyer to see if you guys can sue.
