Careers Employment Questions and Answers

Can I tell them during a job interview that shyness is my greatest weakness?

Answers: I wouldn't especially if its a job dealing with people. I would probably say something more like one of my biggest weaknesses is that I often feel shy at first in new situations however I have found that I can overcome these feelings when I apply myself.
You can answer how ever you wish. It may be a weakness depending on the position that your are applying for. For a sales position shyness is a huge weakness in a candidate. It may not be the best answer to get the position. Perhaps it isn't the shyness itself but being in a certain situation that causes some anxiousness and in turn causes you to be "shy". Perhaps you should look a bit deeper into the situations that you feel you are "shy" and see if it is not something other than shyness.

I can tell you from a personal standpoint from a sales manager point of view, shyness is not something I would want in any of my team members.
No. I think this would reflect poorly on you.

Come up with anothe weakness. You're a perfectionist is a great response.

Good luck.

I enjoy two work offer and I currently enjoy a duty that I don't want to quit...what do I do?

I'm 20 yrs old. I've be to 4 colleges, and I have nought to show for it. I currently have a position that I LOVE. The only problem is that at hand are no benefits and it is part time and doesn't money a lot. A while support I had to put surrounded by applications at 2 places to please my parents (I still live at home). Problem now is that both places want me and I don't want to progress to either duty. Place one-full time, benefits, dad works in same company. Place two-part time, minimal benefits. My entire issue is that I do not want to quit my current undertaking. I love my boss and the job itself. If I don't give somebody a lift either brief, I am afraid that I will regret it in the adjectives when I will need money. Right immediately I only hold 2 bills (student loans ~$100/month). If i don't take brief one, my dad will be mad because he works in attendance and it will reflet badly upon him. He doesn't want me to help yourself to job two bc it is beside a different city that pays less. I am going crazy trying to settle on what I should do. PLEASE HELP!!

Answers: You are an adult immediately. It's time to start making life decision on your own.
It's time to grow up. College didn't work out so you need a full time available job with benefits. As tricky as it is, take the full time work and maybe you can work different hours near this part time career since you like it. But that's energy as an adult, you hold to make some tough choices. Take the full time undertaking. You can always find another opportunity in the adjectives but at least you will hold some more experience and get some more money so you can move out. There is zilch like living on your own.

Drink driving and training to be a nurse?

i am meant to start my nurse training contained by march, but be convicted of drink driving. i have declared it to the university, but do you cogitate that will stop me from going?

Answers: You will most likely know how to attend college and complete your degree.
After graduate, before person able to sit for the NCLEX nursing nouns, you will need to appear formerly your state's board of nursing and declare your mistake. They will want to know what happen, what you have intellectual from it, and how you plan to prevent that from happening contained by the future, or how you will correct the problem. The Board of Nursing will consequently determine whether or not they think you are competent to adequately act a nurse.
As long as this is only one incidence and you are proving to better yourself, near should be no problem!
While you were right to stress it ,It doesn't look good. It shouldn't however create you to lose a place because it's a driving offense not a crime against another person or drug trafficking.
One Example:
Relevant criminal convictions are one and only those convictions for offences against the human being, whether of a violent or sexual moral fibre, and convictions for offences involving unlawfully supplying controlled drugs or substances where on earth the conviction concerns commercial drug dealing or trafficking. Convictions that are spent (as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974) are not considered to be relevant and you should not reveal them. -http://northumbria.ac.uk/brochure/course...
Technically it is a crime and so long as a being has be rehabillated for it then it most cases it properly cannot stop you from employment and certainly wont affect a right to instruction. The only cases where on earth it is not possible to be employed is when a criminal conviction have a direct bearing on the humour of the business you are applying to and that business is considered 'sensitive'. For example, sex offenders will not be offered employment near children or the vunerable, or the financially susceptible (i.e. ex fraudsters) are not able to work near some civil services.

I do not think it will affect your cleverness to be a nurse but they may look kinder on the situation if you volunteer to use your experiences to promote safer roads and the reasons for not DUI. Particularly as a nurse you can confer first hand opinion on both being an criminal and seeing the affects.
No, but your will be required to get an enhanced CRB check formerly you go on placements, I'm not sure if drink driving shows on a CRB check, you could handset the university and ask them.
