Answers: First, never, ever pay to get a job! Legitimate companies will not charge you to work for them. Finding these companies can be an overwhelming task, but I have a good resource for you. http://www.workathomedesk.com is a free site that has an excellent directory of companies that hire home workers and also has frequently updated job leads. Offer $12k below lowest offer from ample and small firms both?
I currently make $75k but specifically only because I hold not been given a angle since 2005. With my over 13 years of experience 98% of the many employers(small ones and fortune 500) I hold interviewed with hold been offering $85k-$100k, so why is a fortune 1000 offering me $78k immediately? Almost $10k less than my lowest extend?? Why did they do this? My minimum price is $90k.Considering everything should I ask for $100k and hope they accept or negotiate down to $90k? The career requires more hours and is in worst location compared to everything else. I also loose a week leave.What should I do? I don't have any other live offer now and marketplace is bad right very soon.
Answers: Don't do it. Wait for something else. $3K isn't worth it.
Are my dreams a bit far fetch?
so im fourteen, at school we did this mini-unit on our adjectives careers and college stuff and blahh. so THAT get me thinking..for a big part of my natural life i REALLY wanted to be a chef (or something related to that) contained by some way, (own a resteraunt.. be a manager chef AT a resteraunt, i cant spell resteraunt.)
but how can i make things similar to this happen? going to a culinary institution is probably a good outcome, but can i really rely on just a cooking primary to get me through the initiation of my career, (i suggest obviously its not similar to, "heyy! you graduated in a minute ur gonna get an awesome livelihood and be rich!)
if you are successfull in a culinary trade, please tell me how you get where you are today. i stipulation helpppp!
Answers: First of all, your dreams are emphatically not far fetched. Being lone 14 and having a accurate idea of what you want to do is great. For myself, i started out working surrounded by a local family restaurant at the age of 16 wash dishes...i was other interested in cooking and figure this was a biddable way to find a foot in the door and see what it be like. Taking the step to cooking freshly came from watching and asking question. Helping out whenever i had free time, etc. Eventually started cooking while still surrounded by high academy, graduated and stayed at hand and kept cooking. I worked there for 5 years and finally contracted that i wasnt going to learn anymore near and wanted to see more. I go to culinary school at the age of 21. Not one of the "big schools" and at the call a halt did my externship at a big resort with plentiful different restaurants. They floated me around a bunch of different kitchens(banquets, steakhouse, fine dining, etc.) and it was a great erudition experience. At the end of my externship they offered me a chore and i accepted. Been here ever since and basically kept working and working and working. 5 years later i'm in a minute the sous chef at a fine dining restaurant here. So really to answer your question on how to clear it happen? Just do it...work the extra shift when they ask. Volunteer to do the crappy position. If you really want to own your own restaurant, or be the Exec or sous chef somewhere culinary school can really facilitate. Mostly with financial responsibilities, study how to manage, etc. As for the cooking member, work whenever you can, read as much as you can. Being young and have a real devout work ethic goes a LONG road. DON'T COMPLAIN. there is nil worse in the kitchen than a complainer, and when your chef asks you do to something.do it. If you are a girl/woman getting into this industry, here is no getting around it.its much tougher. At the beginning its not a glorious brief, you work alot of hours, the pay isnt great at adjectives, but if its something you want to do, and something you love. Go for it. And one of the best things to do is go to a restaurant and ask the chef if you can work for a week for free. Its a great study experience and it shows that you WANT to do this. And you are certainly right, after you gain out of culinary school, you are NOT a chef, your a cook near piece of paper... :)

It's not give or take a few the school, it's around the experience working.
Get a job wash pots and read every cook book you can get your hand on. Experiment at home with topical recipes. Keep working within different restaurants until you have a fiddle with on the business and then walk to school. I go at 27 and really had a great time, studious a lot, and did much better than my 18 year elderly classmates. Sometimes you can get training surrounded by the hotels and that doesn't cost anything. Just keep plugging away and beforehand you know it you'll be running the show!
