i have cancer and have to have a historectomy. i am bad work for 6 weeks, with a doctor slip. i a moment ago found out that i have be fired. my ex-boss says that he is firing me because 3 days up to that time i had my surgery i get sick and called contained by. but i worked the next 2 shifts that i be schedualed after that and he is just presently firing me. i dont know if this is legal contained by my state, but it does not feel right. i know i can draw from unemployment, but i be making sooo much more than that working. i loved my job and i be a good, dependable member of staff. so i dont understand why. i guess my examine is can i do any thing roughly speaking this. i have a nearest and dearest to take support of and bills to pay. and nearby are like NO job in my state. what am i gonna do? can any one oblige me?Answers: unless you were covered by the FMLA, the answer is yes, not what you want to hear I am sure, insensitive yes, Legal yes

I interviewed on a monday, wed HR called and said my perspective check was sent within ans she would be calling my references...she call my boss on friday...this monday I got the propose via phone and recieved the hire packet in the correspondence on wed. they set my hire date for Feb 11. Does this mean my circumstance check already went through? the hire packet have the info for a drug test contained by it. the letter states the set aside is contingent upon the neg drug test and framework check but the background check be sent in ending week-is that why I was offered the available job 1 week later...they wait for the check to go through?Answers: Back ground check consists of a range of checks and some may take more than a month. My company does background checks since we hire and sometimes it takes longer than others due to similar name, similar social security numbers, and other factor such as misinformation.
