Another job contribute, it's in San Francisco, I live roughly speaking 40-mins. by BART or driving- parking is exp. cost -$300-$400/mo. Hrs-9:30-6pm, won't get hm till 7pm. Concerns, hold out good but would own to share front desk w/another girl who wks 6am-2:30pm, I don't like that, she's out of college, I own 20 yrs exp.,My fear, we will be compared, I don't want to be compared to anyone esle. Another concern, HR told me that some of the general public that work there will come up to the front desk to complain roughly they way they answer the phone, work, etc., I really don't want to be contained by an enviornement where I'll be picked on, merely came from an organization that did just that. I don't know what's wrong near me, I just can't come across to connect with any opportunity interview/offer-5 so far-turned them down, are these fears real or something else? How do you agreement with difficult co-wkrs, high-up's, can't return with away from them.Friend just get a $2./an hr. raise for almost quitting career. What I'm I doing wrong? HowDoYouSucceed?Answers: Sounds like you own a lot of anxiety which may be why you are turning down job. Also, if the job is too far away, why are you interviewing for it? What can I do for a career to produce money since I can't do.?
I have a serious spinal column problem and I can't sit at a desk for any length of time, nor stand, nor walk/drive, nor lift etc. I can write relatively economically, am a fair typer, can read a book/mag/paper/etc., keep watch on tv/movies. I was an english lit chief in college but have to drop out because I couldn't reliably sit in classes. I other did very powerfully in papers and can critique literature/writing pretty economically, but never got my level. (I would enjoy writing for a dissertation or something but never got my amount so I don't think i.e. possible)So what are some ideas of what I could possible do for a post? (its been years since I've have a regular paycheck due to my back and I really entail to find something I can do) I would appreciate ANY ideas, or any thoughts nearly how to get around the certainty I never graduated college. I am, surrounded by my opinion, pretty smart and all right read- just denial the degree.
I'm contained by serious need of work and a work! Please help me beside some ideas! My parents will thank you. :)
Answers: I reflect there's a laptop stand that lets you type while you are lying on your hindmost on thinkgeek.com; my brother got one because he works from home deeply (he's in the IT field). Perhaps you could thieve some online or telecourses courses and finish getting your degree or at smallest an AA, and then possibly you could do some freelance writing. Maybe you could review movies or books.
The first thing I would recommend is finish your level. Most colleges/universities these days allow you to filch online classes, which you can take whenever you're sensation able to sit at the computer, etc. If you complete your coursework and earn your level, you should be able to find a undertaking as a book or magazine editor that allows you flexibility in your in-office/in-home work diary. Or you could work as a journalist, once you own the degree. Alternatively, if you really need to be earn money now (although I can't stress satisfactory the importance of your college degree), you could check beside some small-town local papers (weeklies). They frequently hire writers with little to no experience; however, the take-home pay usually reflects that (i.e., surrounded by my small Texas town, a weekly will hire someone with no experience for approximately $8/hr... again, I can't stress adequate the importance of getting hold of that degree within the long-term!).
