What occupation is right for me?

what websites can i go to that will hold me take a quiz (for free) that will update me the best major for me?


Answers: if you're a student, try going to your guidance counselor at conservatory and asking for information about taking the AIM/GATB tryout. it's free and will test you to see what areas you might enjoy the most success surrounded by. if your guidance counselor doesn't know about it, try the local Dept of Labor and ask for an employment counselor. They usually are the ones that administer the try-out.

Weekend post?

I work forty hours a week, but no weekends. Do you have any accepted wisdom or know of any places that hire people only just for the weekend? I need to build some extra money. I don't want to work during the week because I am exhausted after work and the drive. Thanks! :)

Peak season pro tem employment thinking?

I'm searching for planning on what industries could maintain a constant employment during acme tourist/travel/summer/winter season. Larger number of positions would help. Example: Ski resorts individual need alot of organization during thier ski season and smaller amounts during the off season. What other industries would want temporary personnel for times like that? Prefer location on the Southwest US. Arizona, California, Nevada, Colorado.


Answers: The tariff preparation companies come to mind. Their season is January to April 15th

Sports related companies, especially baseball related, football related, and hockey related, and NASCAR.. Wherever the Super Bowl is played, that city can expect a huge surge, same with the Olympics and Winter Olympics.

Most shopping malls, and retail stores high point November to January during the Christmas holiday season. Also, the post office and Federal Express, etc.

Amusement Parks, Outdoor entertainment events, fair, festivals.

Farming and agriculture is outstandingly sensitive to seasonal climate changes, and growing cycles, especially fruit trees, melons, strawberries, and vegetables

Some construction, and building trades, highway repair, bridge conservation

Cruise lines, school bus drivers

Beaches, and coast communities that are popular spring and summer break destinations.
