Any obedient art field contained by computers?
I am in the failure of my junior year of highschool and have be thinking about a craft. I know for a fact I want to work near a computer but Im not sure wich one would be the funnest. I was wondering does anyone hold any careers that they would similar to to brag about or know that are fun or worth the work? Also how I can receive that job Like what classes I necessitate in college etc.Answers: Information Technology (IT) is a great craft field, but close to "Medicine" its actually a quantity of different jobs. I've worked as a Network Engineer, computer technician, controlled support/help desk, web design, and programming. Each requires a different skill set.
What I'd really recommend is start a broad Computer Information Systems degree at your local university. While you are surrounded by the first year, you should find out what you enjoy. Most populace either similar to hardware or software, but rarely does someone truly wallow in both.
Have you ever done anything with Linux? Try finding an elderly computer and then nouns Ubuntu. Then, start learning PERL.
By messing beside the old computer you'll capture your feet drizzly on hardware. Because its Linux, chances are you'll own to learn nearly something on the hardware to get the Linux up 100%. Ubuntu is the easiest nouns and you may get by next to no tweaks, but you will have fun doing it.
Then, study PERL script will give you for a time look at scripting. That should let you know whether you will relish programming.
I love working in IT. You must constantly swot up or you will be left at the back. There is always a spanking new challenge to overcome.

Answers: With taht kindly of GPA, I'd suggest you consider college and start taking pre-req's. I'd also suggest you consider becomming a PA instead of a nurse. Physician Assistants are a hot item right now.

I'm not sure going on for those particular colleges, but most nursing programs own a long waiting list.
I would speak with your GPA, you should be ok near having a right chance of making it. Volunteering at a hosp. will not own an effect b/c schools look at grades, principally science&math grades.
If you dont get standard right away, don't let it discourage you! You can verbs into the major once you're surrounded by the school too. I'm currently doing that at my arts school and it's really not as hard.
If you want to be standard into the nursing program then you call for to look outside of the california/LA box because their waiting long IS most likely long. The first entry I would do is look around for colleges that you are interested in, set up an appointment next to one of the counselors and talk to them roughly speaking it and they will let you know the expected dawdle it will be. Volunteering at a hospitol WILL look better on your appliaction, but it won't boost you up on the list. You shoud consider going to methodical colleges because they are usually less crowded and hold less waiting list. I would just simply look around at colleges and grant them all a telephone call and ask them what their waiting list is. I did that and I get in the subsequent semester when I went to a methodical college. Good luck! :)
