Who makes the most money or have the best salary a year?Architects that are self-employed or the ones who work for a firm or governing body? And what's the exact steps in becoming a architect?

Because I want to design the house and want to design the interior (exterior & interior).
What should I do as far as education astute?
They both require at least a Master Degree, so it would transport too long to get a Masters surrounded by one then capture one in the other, Right?
Answers: The best approach to start out is in a firm. You clear a name for yourself and get together contacts. Also it depends on if you plan to do residential or commercial. Commerical is good money within the big cities, especially in the east. The house flea market isnt so hot, but by the time you graduate it may be better. As to which is better, thats a personal desicion. Some people love to design buildings, others love to hang them. You could always any have a double foremost in architecture and interior design or you could own one as a major and one as a minor.
Education, I focus the best schools are within the east. Boston has two excellent school. Wentworth Institute of Technology and Northeastern University. Both ver good school. I have be to both. If you like NYC, they enjoy a nice school name New York Institute of Technology. They have a nice program and pass out a nice amount in financial aid. Plus they are located surrounded by columbis circle right downtown. Its really nice. Wentowrth has a Masters Program surrounded by 5 years and you could minor in the other. Thats what I would do if I be you.

Is there any shame working as a janitor as a 2nd job to earn more money?
Answers: Of course not! It's good honest work and there's no shame in that. Be proud of yourself that you recognize a financial need and are able and willing to do something to fill it. My dad used to say that it didn't matter whether you were a ditch digger or a brain surgeon; just make sure you do the best job you can do and be the best one there is. In other words, it's not the work you do that makes you who you are; it's your attitude and your willingness to do a good job no matter what you do. This is a Western country mentality, where some people think very highly of themselves, often without grounds :-), and figure they are too good for a certain job. They sure would hate going to a dirty mall, though.

If your an member of staff but in that giveing you a 1099 and not a w2 for taxs?
if your working for some one as an employee monday - friday 9-6 hrs and take-home pay by the hr is it ok for them to pay you as an sub contractor but knowing in that your just an member of staff and then administer you a 1099 and not a w2 for your taxs where you hold to pay your own taxsAnswers: Legally you cannot be remunerated as a subcontractor for an hourly job where on earth you go to their place of business on their programme to use their supplies and tools to do your job.
But, lots companies are buckling under hand taxes and insurance, so they are resorting to this.
Myself, it would depend on what I thought I could write off on my taxes and how much annually they be talking going on for. You have to remember that you will own to take out federal and state taxes AND 15.3% social deposit and medicare PLUS probably pay someone to do your taxes.
If you are desparate for a duty, maybe pocket it but keep looking until you find a material job.
