What kind of shoes to get as a Restaurant Host?

Answers: go to:
http://www.shoesforcrews.com

look through the site they have numerous styles and are made for being on your feet 8-10 hours at a time. they are on the expensive side but are worth it. they are non-slip, comfortable and last a very, very long time. almost all the larger restaurant chains use them and many have deals set up where you get your shoes and pay for them a little out of each of your first couple of checks. check with your restaurants GM.

you can get a less expensive pair that don't wear as well at Wal-mart, K-mart, Pay-less it's up to you but be sure whatever you get the are non-slip and are comfortable. you won't be sorry if you get good shoes, you will be if you get the wrong ones.

this link is for the casual & dress executive section to give you some ideas on what to look for and what you like:

You'll need a good supportive shoe so your back & knees won't suffer. I don't know what the dress code is, as far as shoes go, so you'll have to find that out. Most of the hosts I see, wear black sneakers. If you are allowed to wear sneakers, New Balance is a great shoe to wear when you're going to be on your feet a lot. I'm not sure if NB comes in black. Talk to your employer about the shoe requirement. Do not buy cheap shoes that are part plastic. You'll pay the price in more ways than one if you do.

Nursing sound out??

is there a difference between getting your AS scope in nursing and getting your BS point in nursing? i be told that getting only your ASN manner that you are only a licensed practical nurse and not an actual registered nurse. is that true?

Answers: An ASN amount is an Associate of Science in Nursing. This is close but not exactly a BSN.

As a graduate of the ASN point program, you will be eligible to take the national licensure nouns (NCLEX-RN) to become a registered nurse.

If you desire a career as a registered nurse, the Associate of Science within Nursing (ASN) degree program is the place to inaugurate. Possessing an ASN degree and an RN license are prerequisites for pursuing an RN-to-BSN point.
This can be confusing for many.

There are warrant and associate degree programs which prepare the student for the LPN licensure nouns.

There are assciate, diploma and bachelor degree programs which prepare the student for the RN nouns.

You must determine the purpose of the associate degree program beforehand starting.

Graduation from a nursing educational program does not gross you an LPN or an RN, it just prepares you for licensure.

Once you graduate from a program, you may sit for the nouns for which you have prepared.

If you slip away the examination, you must still come together all the other license requirements of the State Board of Nursing before you are awarded the title and licensure as LPN or RN.
