Will I be fired for staring at someone inadvertently ?
I must admit that I trance a lot at work but it be nothing sexual when I be caught staring at a co-worker. But I'm afraid I will be fired because I can understand why someone would get the impression uncomfortable.Answers: I would not believe so, but make an hard work to avoid doing this. Nobody likes it!
Most workplaces own a policy on sexual harassment and nouns. But before your behavior lead to you being fired, an HR department would look at the following:
- did someone acuse you of sexual discrimination?
- was this a one time popularity or something the "acuser" (for lack of a better term) have observed/experienced regularly?
- did the other employee let somebody know you that s/he found your behavior offensive or rude? if so, did you change your behavior after mortal told it was indecorous?
Many factors budge into someone being fired beneath a typical workplace harassment policy. Your behavior could build someone uncomfortable. I other say, "when surrounded by doubt, don't do it, don't say it, or ask for clarification".
Legally sexual hounding is determined by the person who believes they are human being harassed. That way that if a person took your staring as sexual hounding, they could report it to HR. HR then would start an investigation to see if in that was some sexual maltreatment involved. Even if you were found not guilty, here would be a blot on your record as have been accuse of sexual harassment.
FYI: If HR does call for you in an accuse you of staring at a particular individual DO NOT say that you "daydream" and/or that you "have a handle on why someone would feel uncomfortable". That purely makes you look resembling an employee near not enough work and invites question as to why you are so understanding. The correct response is "NO, I be not staring at _____. I was working and looked rotten in space while thinking just about an issue on my assignment. I did not see _______, he/she did not come into my line of sight".
Should i quit my work?
I'm 16 and I've been working at a sandwich place for in the order of 2 and a half months and they won't make a contribution me anymore hours because we don't have that much business so I single work 2 days out of the week. you can imagine what it say on my paycheck every 2 weeks. i want to work at PetsMart in the subsequent town. they pay more, i really similar to animals and know a lot in the order of them, and i could work more days during the week. the only factor is getting near. it takes something like 15 to 20 minutes to get to petsmart and singular takes 3 minutes to gain to the sandwich place. what should i do?Answers: A pay bundle includes certain perk like distance you own to travel. With you job education you surely can find something else. Get out there and start applying to other places. The farther you enjoy to travel the more money you require. The less hours the more money you enjoy to require. Let's face it, two days a week is rediculous, escpecially when here is not hope for more hours in the adjectives. You may have to go your field of interest for a time to re-establish your business nouns somewhere else and then dance back to what you love.
Yes,you should quit it and find a strange job
