Trouble finding duty?

21 years old..going to college...i apply for host and server positions working contained by casual restaurants similar to applebees, tgi fridays etc. (i've tried so many at smallest 10 just anyone res taurants..and in person)i solely put down on employer as work history...but i am eligible for rehire...
and i tell them that the rationale i didn't work that much was because i have to give my younger brother a ride...and be involved in institution organizations..?? so why?
why are these 16, 17 little girls getting mission positions as host's (who don't have experience most likely) over me?
i'm starting to believe it's because I'm asian

Answers: The discount is in the cistern and millions of degreed experienced workers are flooding the market, even within jobs close to restaurants & retail. Now realize that the middle class is being eliminate and they were the relations who used to go to these restaurants to munch through. Now they can barely afford groceries at home.

So, more competition and a lesser amount of customers equals NO JOBS.

Stop and put yourself in this manager's shoes for a minute. Say you enjoy one open position and you involve the flexibility to have the character work 80% of the time the restaurant is open. In walk 2 applicants, one is willing to work anytime needed and the other can merely work 5-10, 5 days a week. If you were the negotiator you would hire the one that is flexible, every single time.

As for the younger workers, I will guess that surrounded by your state there is a lower minimum wage for those 18. Lower minimum wage equals lower payroll AND lower taxes. The cost to hire a worker is NOT purely what you pay them, it is also EXTRA taxes and insurance.

This contemporary economy is a rouse up call for working Americans. For the recent past 15 years or so things have be real effortless for most places. Didn't have to work genuine hard and if fired you could step down the street and get another opening.

Times have changed and if empire don't wake up, starvation will not be trouble-free. To get, and preserve, a job contained by a shrinking economy you hold to be ready, predisposed and able to work whenever your boss wants you to; you need to never miss work or hail as in sick; you obligation to work harder than all your co-workers and you obligation to NEVER ***, complain or whine about fairness or human being asked to do a job.

Those that know how to really work will be fine, the rest of the country are going to be standing contained by cheese lines and living in cold houses.

Reality will be a bitter pill for heaps to swallow.
its because
a) that 16 or 17 year old girl is related to someone working in that
b) she costs for a lot smaller amount to hire
I guess you have to commit to work..

Why am i have trouble finding a undertaking when?

Answers: I devise it is because you said you "didn't work that much because I had to offer my younger brother a ride". Do not mention that. Any reason you didn't work, should be work-related or attaining employment. I hope you did not mention that you are eligible for rehire within an interview because they are wondering why you don't go stern? Will this guy start with us and depart from?

You are in college and you really don't hold to explain about small crack of time after high university. I would also double-check your references--if you are eligible for rehire...that may be what the last employer is unfolding your new possible employer. If you don't hold permission from one of your reference, find another or contact someone who would give you a favorable outcome. Since this is your with the sole purpose job...it is impressive that whoever is contacted reflects accurately why you departed. I've found, this is one of the biggest reasons to getting hold of work. You need to consent to them know you started college and their hours wouldn't fit or some reasonable explanation. But, would they please allow a polite reference.
