I'm supposed to have an interview beside a collection agency for an IT job. I wouldn't be the one calling up population, demanding money but I would be supporting their efforts. Can I Sue My former Employer for Blaming me for the compnays mistake?
I formaly Worked for a video game retailer, My livelihood rank be a step below the assiatnt manager. About a year earlier I started working for this company a Store manager get mad witht the compnay and give away alot of high price mechandice. This mechandice be never replaced in the store and be never corrected in the inventory documents because it be unsure what all be given away. I found out about this after working in that for 6 months and being fired because managemnet made me complete our on a daily basis inventory counts (a task that is to say not in my duty description) Cortperate office Crekaed down on our Mistrict supervisor wondering why for almost 2 years our store had be off surrounded by inventory. since i was the singular one to complete inventory they fired me! I ahve a wife and a Five Month old child and enjoy been Searching and imploring for employment for 6 months becasue my employment record states that I be Fired for Stealing from the Company..Do I have a lawsuit on my hand?

Answers: Sounds like you do IF AND ONLY IF the former employer have advised prospective employer that you were fired for stealing.
Have you tried applying for laying-off and were denied (on the font of stealing?) If so, you can appeal the denial and have the employer "prove" that you be stealing.
I'm not sure how they could prove you were stealing since your story say that the "theft" occurred one year in the past you started working for the company.
Also, it is a bit odd that not a soul did inventory for that many years. If to be precise true, then how can the employer prove that you stole the items? There would enjoy been no account of it for 2 years until you started doing inventory so all they have was a 2 year ripened record of what be supposed to be there and compared it to what the inventory you said be there.
Only if you own proof of all your arguments. Otherwise you will winding up frustrated and broke.
Sometimes your best bet is to move on and permit time reward people for their movements.
What employment record? You don't hold to say that be why you left. Your employer CAN'T say-so that. They can only verify your date of employment and state if you are elligible for rehire.
If you had the facts that it be not you, and if you were not even contained by management, why did you hold the fall? why didn;t you protest it?
